The reason that I am reproducing it here is that since St. Sylvester’s Eve is upon us, we are one year closer to the time when the number of Catholic priests in France will be greater than the number of “spirit of VII” modernist “presiders”. According to the above graph, this will occur sometime in 2038, and France will be the first country to attain this historic milestone. And it is with bitter sweet irony that I notice that the Holy Spirit does possess a sense of humor. How else can we explain this rebirth of Catholicism in the same country that gave us the French revolution, the death of the Ancien Regime and the scourge of modernism.
As for the Restoration work being performed by the Holy Spirit, here is a excerpt from Fr. Blake’s blog via Rorate Caeli: (see here)
Fortunately, there is good and encouraging news coming from the seminaries of tradition. The traditional communities and dioceses have offspring. More, their seminars are full. It is therefore to be hoped that more old rite seminaries will be opened. There is no danger that they remain empty, since there is a strong interest in tradition by young believers.
On this note, I wish all my regular readers and visitors who may have stumbled onto this blog the best of everything in the coming New Year.
Viva Cristo Rey!

Dear SA,
Thanks for the reminders as this secular year comes to an end, that despite all the bad news there are positive signs of God’s ongoing preparations for the renewal of His Church, and the Fatima-promised Time of Peace. Mundabor periodically mentions his trust in the indefectibility promised by Our Lord, and we find these are great helps to us in the midst of such apocalyptic upheavals in the Church and -in the world-where persecutions can sometimes be overwhelming.
Our Lady is a shining example to us, of joy in God in the midst of suffering.
May she always guide us to imitate her in Faith, Hope and Love.
Have a wonderful finish to your holiday- travels, and may God bless you all in the coming year. Don’t forget to make time for the Rosary 🙂 🙂
