polls-clinton-iiIn today’s post your humble blogger reverts back to a subject matter and a PHENOMIENON that has been identified on this blog, namely WEAPONIZED DESPONDENCY. We left off this subject matter in a post titled  DESPONDENCY – The ZombieBishop’s Weapon Of Choice (see here). If you recall, in that post we explained how the then ZombieBishop Cupich, now ZombieCardinal elect, was using WEAPONIZED DESPONDENCY to destroy the Catholic schools on the North West Side of Chicago.

The reason that I mention this PHENOMENON today, is that I have observed the use of DESPONDENCY as a rhetorical weapon, and it has become quite common. One sub-set of human activity where one can readily notice this tactic of WEAPONIZED DESPONDENCY being used, is in the political area of human endeavor. On the Zero Hedge website, one can find a post titled: Is Clinton’s Lead Over Trump As Large As Advertised? (see here) In the post, one can read the following: (emphasis added)

Once upon a time, political polls tended to be pretty accurate (there were occasional exceptions to this rule, but they were few and far between). Recently there have been a few notable misses though. One that comes to mind is the Brexit referendum. Shortly before the vote, polls indicated the outcome would be a very close one, while betting markets were indicating a solid win of the “remain” vote. The actual result was around 52:48 in favor of  “leave”, so this was quite a big miss.

This is where we pick up in today’s post.

With the massive victories in the two presidential debates to date, Donald J. Trump has solidified his lead in the upcoming US Presidential election.

If you are wondering about the OBJECTIVE CORRECTNESS of the above statement, trust me on this. But I digress…

The way we can support the above ASSERTION is through examining the  “polls”.

And I have been doing just this. I have been following the “polls”, or to be more precise, the problems with the “polls” on the most excellent catholic website ZeroHedge.

For those readers of mine who have taken your most humble bloggers advice and have been doing likewise will recall this string of events:

And here is how ZeroHedge commented this certain turn of events on the 31st of July 2016:

And that, dear readers, is how one tumbles from a 1-point lead to a 6-point loss in 3 days thanks to the miracle of a polling “adjustment.” Because if it works to “boost” GDP, why shouldn’t it work for Hillary as well?

Fast forward to the 29th of September 2016, and we see this post title:

How Reuters “Tweaked” Its Latest Poll (Again) To Show A Clinton Lead (Sep 29, 2016 8:02 PM)

And comment:

Reuters has taken some heat in recent months for “tweaking” their polling methodology seemingly every time the data reveals “inconvenient” results for Hillary (see our previous posts on the topic here and here).  But the latest Reuters/Ipsos polling “tweak” is truly amazing.  Having run out of options for slyly “tweaking” questions and categories to sway respondents in their preferred direction, Reuters has apparently resorted to blatant poll tampering by altering their polling samples to include a disproportionate number of democrats.

So in the span of one month, we went from “adjusting” polling results to outright poll tampering.

Fast forward to yesterday, and we read the following headline:

The Real Battle Is For Your Mind – About That NBC/WSJ Clinton +11 Point Poll (Oct 11, 2016 3;36 PM)

In this post, its author writing on the Conservative Treehouse blog, identifies and demonstrates the “mechanism” used to falsify polling data and “create” fake polls. The fake poll in question is the NBC/WSJ poll that showed Sick Hillary with a 50 11 point lead. NB: This post is a must read. Here is how this dubious methodology and the wider implications were commented:

Notice how the WEAPONIZED DESPONDENCY is being used to demoralize the Trump supporters?

On the back of the above post, we get this only several hours later:

And here is how this “result” was commented:

For a candidate as polarizing as Trump, having a 7 point disadvantage off the bat purely as a result of the poll’s construction, will certainly have an adverse impact.

And obviously what this means is that this “poll” had a built in 7 point disadvantage for Trump before any polling data was even collected.

Which brings me to the major point. The reason why I focused on the Reuters poll is that Reuters is a market information news service. Its business is dependent on the perception of the market place that the information that it is providing is OBJECTIVE, not to mention TRUE. If Reuters is falsifying data, regardless whether it is “meaningless polling” data or not, it is compromising its very business model. The same can be said for the Wall Street Journal. On an aside, one has to wonder why the WSJ would cooperate with a Agitation/Propaganda outfit like NBC in the first place. But I digress…

But back to the issue at hand. So how can one tell what the OBJECTIVE REALITY is on the ground?

For the answer to this question, I take you over to another “catholic” website that I have been following, namely The Gateway Pundit. What this website does is follow the respective campaigns and records their attendance figures. The below is a snapshot of the post 2nd debate Trump and Clinton rallies respectively:

Concluding, what we see is WEAPONIZED DESPONDENCY being deployed to demoralize the American people from going out to vote for Donald Trump. And if these Americans do go to vote, the Democrats Establishment/Media/Industrial Complex are attempting to stigmatize those very same Americans from casting their vote for Donald J. Trump.

Yet for those who still have the ability to think rationally and critically, are not buying into this media narrative. They are going out in droves to support The Donald in his White House campaign.

And it is this OBJECTIVE data that provides you dear reader and your humble blogger, with a TRUE picture of what in fact is the OBJECTIVELY TRUE situation on the ground. The reason why this is important is that the real presidential campaign, is the one that is being waged in the voter’s minds!

And on an aside, Despondency is a sin, so don’t do it!
