And finally it’s coming to an end.
There is still counting going on, but it looks like the DemocRats will take the House while the Republicans will add BIGLY to their Senate majority.
Can’t call them all, but looking at the respective results from the two chambers, it would appear that the House results are an outlier.
One other aspect to the results. A lot of Rinos were replaced by Trump Republicans. It might not be apparent from just looking at the numbers, but the POTUS will have a much easier time with Executive Branch appointments and with the JUDGES and JUSTICES.
Which brings this thread to one observation: The Very Stable Genius must do something about the voter fraud.
As for the sentiment of this humble blogger, I concur with Ari above.
*******
It’s on!
Leading off, Bill Mitchell…
NOTA BENE: As my loyal readers know, money center banks do exit polls. Therefore if we see the stock market rallying (S&P) or USD rallying (EUR/USD trending lower), it means that R’s are doing very well!
S&P will be the tell in the humble opinion of this even more humble blogger!

UPDATE 21:15 6 November 2018
As we wait, remember this folks, and it was predicted on the CTH blog: (see here)
Polls aren’t closed yet and predictions are being made… while the Obama tool Van Jone’s heart is breaking…
UPDATE 15:32 6 November 2018
Looks like the CELEBRATARDS ain’t doing any better with their GOTV effort.
Mark Dice is crushing them!
UPDATE 15:05 6 November 2018
#NeverTrump-ers folding early.
Frankie ain’t gonna get caught off-sides this time around?
But what will the “donors”say…
UPDATE 15:00 6 November 2018
This one’s too good to check…
UPDATE 14:00 6 November 2018
I am seeing this sentiment being expressed on other conservative analysts twitter feeds:
Here is a screen grab from Dade County FL at 14:00.
Also keep in mind that most Republican voters cast their ballots after 16:30, i.e after they get off work.
POSITIVE!
And here is the BLEXIT example….
Amazing…

“We are all doomed”. PCR makes a lot of sense. This could also be considered a message from God.

Divine Providence indeed, for our own good. Only truth will set us free, lest we become slaves to falsehood.
“We are all the children of our age. It is said that you cannot leave clothes in a smoky room, without them taking on the smell of smoke. Similarly, by living in an age whose spirit is radically opposed to that of Christ, it is only to be expected that most of us will become tainted by that spirit in one way or another, to a greater or lesser degree. Through this Spirit of the World, the devil makes sin look splendid, charming and alluring in persons, places and things.”
“Wisdom is better than strength; and a wise man is better than a strong man. True wisdom is fondness of truth, the false wisdom is fondness of falsehood, disguised under the appearance of truth……earthly, sensual and devilish wisdom. Those who proceed according to the wisdom of the world, are those who know how to manage well their affairs and to arrange things to their temporal advantage, without appearing to do so…..who wish to pass for honest people, who make a secret, but deadly fusion of truth with untruth; of the Gospel with the world; of virtue with vice; of Jesus Christ with Satan…….
“Never was the world so corrupt as it is now, because it was never so astute, so wise in its own conceit and so cunning.”

I live in Steve Scalise’s district and he is up for re-election. Nothing substantial on the ballot otherwise; some constitutional amendments, a few parish wide props on property millages and so forth, and some local elections.
Even though Scalise is a lock, the parking lot at my polling place this morning was full. I had to park across the street.

The base is energized!
And the DemocRats voting is sporadic. I think they got paniced by the R’s early voting totals and started to bring out their dead to vote early.
Now a lot of their counties are showing it…

One thing I forgot to add; I went to the polls around 9:30 or 10:00 so what I saw wasn’t simply a rush of folks trying to get the vote done before heading off to work.
Again, this is a heavily republican district and it’s not like Steve Scalise is even close to being in danger of losing. He isn’t. I just think folks are pumped to vote. Anyway, that’s the report from my neck of the woods.
Goes without saying I suppose but voting and encouraging your friends and family to do so as well is part of the equation, but don’t forget to pray.

Fascinating how the polls always seem to show these last-weekend “changes.” I think Rush Limbaugh may have it right. He says most of the polls are intended to form rather than report opinion, so they always skew to the D side. At the end, most start reporting closer to the truth in an effort to preserve whatever reputation they think they have left. He also opines, and I tend to agree, that the vast majority of so-called “undecideds” are just people who refuse to tell a stranger how they intend to vote. These dramatic stories about groups supposedly “breaking” one way or the other are fake news, for the most part, intended to sell papers and boost ratings. Nearly everyone who votes made up their minds whom to vote for, at least in the key races, when they decided not to sit out the election.
I predict a massive red wave in which the GOP will hold the House and gain 3 to 6 seats in the Senate.

From reports on the ground, the R’s in the Senate could exceed 58.
