Multiple Corporate Social Media Platforms Simultaneously Ban Alex Jones for Thought Crimes…

Posted on August 6, 2018 by sundance

The corporate thought police moved in unity today to unperson Alex Jones and his Info Wars media site from popular social media platforms.

Imagine if BP, Exxon, Chevron and Sunoco all moved, on the same day, at the same time, to charge $5.00/gal for gasoline at their service stations.  That would be illegal collusion to take advantage of a monopolistic position.  That’s essentially what happened today when Facebook, YouTube, Apple and Spotify did today in simultaneously banning the Alex Jones broadcast from their platforms; and purge him from the internet.

Info Wars Website Here

Ezra Levant has some perspective worth sharing:

“One of the terrifying things about the Facebook & Apple bans of everything Alex Jones has ever said, is that it is not based on any particular allegation. They haven’t identified a specific violation of their terms of service. They’re just un-personing him.”

“It’s not a legal approach (remedy a problem) and it’s not an intellectual approach (articulate what thoughts are now banned, and why) . It’s a de-platforming approach, a mob approach, hysteria. It’s how Antifa would act, if they owned a trillion-dollar tech company. Or China.”

“Roman emperors practiced “damnatio memoriae”, in English: to “damn the memory” of troublesome people, such as a rival brother they had killed. They literally scraped non-persons off of paintings, destroyed sculptures of them.”

“[W]hen it’s the Internet’s emperors doing the de-personing, it works just fine. Soon Alex Jones will never have existed. How would you prove otherwise, if you can’t find him on Google?”  (continue reading via twitter)

Oddly enough this was entirely predicted.  Back in the Fall of 2015 Matt Drudge appeared on the Alex Jones broadcast to warn of this exact situation.  Drudge talked about the need to stay off their platforms, because he could see the political use of platform control was likely to happen in the next few years.  In hindsight Drudge was eerily prescient:

.

The political left, and all the control elements of the Marxist Silicon Valley monopoly gatekeepers are moving in unity, taking action the deem will influence the 2018 elections and beyond.   In the big picture this coordinated effort is a move to attack political opposition by weaponizing and controlling social media platforms.

Regardless of anyone’s opinion of Alex Jones, all should take this action seriously and think through the long-term ramifications….

CTH has been sending warning flares for years:

We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.

And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.

key-to-success
In today’s post I will attempt to do a little house cleaning. Over the last couple of posts, I have tried to focus on the et Invisibilium part of the Visibilium Omnium, et Invisibilium.

To be more specific, I have tried to demonstrate the PROCESS that is presently taking place whereby a clique of dishonest “journalists” and their corrupt MAIN STREAM MEDIA employers are trying to create a VIRTUAL REALITY so that their Establishment candidate, Sick, Crooked, Unelectable Hillary Clinton can win the Presidential Election.

I have also identified this same PROCESS at work in the ecclesiastical sub-set of the Visibilium Ominium, that part that constitutes the governing “soviet” (see here) of the Francis pontificate. And it is not coincidental that your humble blogger uses “marxist/leninist/maoist” terminology when describing that cabal holed up on the 4th floor of the Domus Sanctae Marthae. Actually, these people are as close as one gets, to anyone promoting an  IDEOLOGICALLY pure version of Marxism these days. And just like in the US Presidential Campaign, a CORRUPT Main Stream and “c”atholic Media is propping up this OBJECTIVE EPIC FAILURE that is the Francis pontificate.

So what in fact is happening is that the SAME PROCESS is being used in two different sub-sets of the Visibilium Omnium to create a VIRTUAL REALITY as to allow certain interests to either maintain (Francis) or acquire (Hillary) power and control.

So today, your humble blogger will be speaking about PROCESS.

As to referencing Marxism when describing the residents occupying a certain floor of the Ricca hostel Domus Sancae Marthae, please see here.

Here’s a visual…

jesuits-ii

Need I say more…

Still don’t see the connection?

Allow me to explain.

Today we will drill into the part of the et Invisibilium that constitutes  the PROCESSES part. And like the good Thomists that we are, first we start with a definition: (see here)

et Invisibilium – all the non-material laws and processes that regulate the visibilium omnium (e.g. the laws of physics – classical mechanics and quantum mechanics, laws of mathematics, rules of logic, etc.)

And as you may well have figured out by now, when we speak PROCESSES, we mean those actions that are undertaken during the course of human activity that are subject to the LAWS of the et Invisibilium.

And the manner in which we test to see whether those PROCESSES undertaken are OBJECTIVELY GOOD is through what we termed the 1st Principle of the LEX ARMATICUS. The 1st Principle of the LEX ARMATICUS states that:

1nd Principle:

Those individuals and institutions that comply to the et Invisibilium, will remain a part of the Visibisium Omnium. Those that do not, will be consigned to the trash heap of history.

And naturally, it follows that if a PROCESS conforms to the LEX ARMATICUS, it will have a SUCCESSFUL (OBJECTIVELY GOOD) outcome. And vice versa, if a PROCESS does not conform to the LEX ARMATICUS, it will …. be consigned to the trash heap of history.

Furthermore, by understanding the LEX ARMATICUS, we can OBSERVE a PROCESS as it is unfolding and PREDICT whether that PROCESS will have a POSITIVE OUTCOME.

OBJECTIVELY speaking, off course… (in reference to the cartoon above.)

Note Bene: This is what we are presently doing when observing The Donald in the wider CONTEXT of the US Presidential campaign.

And naturally, this PREDICTIVE ability that the LEX ARMATICUS provides us will allow us to JUDGE which part of any given PROCESS we want to support, and which given PROCESS we don’t want to touch with the proverbial “10 foot pole”.

So those are the basics.

Now let’s do a practical application exercise. In a post titled  EXCLUSIVE – The Marxist Revolutionary: New Jesuit Superior-General revealed by those who knew him in Venezuela to which we linked above, we can read the following: (emphasis added)

In 1989 there was a big popular uprising in Caracas due to the work of a liberal Minister of Economy. It was known afterwards that Fidel Castro was behind it. The “grassroots communities” of the Jesuits worked very actively and the radio in charge of which were mostly the Jesuits, “Fe y alegría”, played an active subversive role. Thus, they became co-responsible in the death of 2,000 people.

Later, the Jesuits worked actively in the coming of the Chavista revolution. There were Jesuits who opposed Chávez, that is true. Some very strongly. Now, in April 2002, when Chávez was out of office for a couple of days, people heard Father Sosa proclaim that the grassroots “Christian” communities would defend the Revolution to death, that the “right-wing” [?] would see the strength of the Revolution…

So what we have in the above two paragraphs is a description of a PROCESS. That process can be termed as the “collectivization of the Venezuelan ECONOMY” with the staunch help of a part of the Society of Jesus and some of it’s members, specifically one Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal.

Given the above, the next question should be: so,  how did this PROCESS work out?

By all OBJECTIVE accounts, the answer is: NOT SO WELL.

As my loyal readers know, I have been following the situation in what we call the FrancisEconomy of Venezuela with respect to the ECONOMIC sub-set of human activities of the Visibilium Omnium, et Invisibilium for some time now. (see here and here and here and here)

One post that was produced, namely  Francis’ One-Percenters! explained the situation on the ground:

The latest glaring example of the disgusting and immoral corruption of socialism’s one percenters is Venezuela, a country that has “long been the darling of the [socialist] Left,” according to a June 16 article in the Daily Mail.  The article, authored by Jake Wallis Simons, has the headline:  “Super-rich socialists quaff champagne in Venezuelan country clubs while middle-class mothers scavenge for food in the gutter . . . even the dogs are starving.”

So let’s bring the storyline up to date. Over the last few weeks, the following information has come out about the present state of the FrancisEconomy of Venezuela:

  • Corpses EXPLODING in Venezuela’s morgues as cash-strapped Socialist country cannot afford to provide air conditioning (see here)
  • Hungry Venezuelans break into Caracas zoo and butcher a horse (see here)
  • Venezuela nationalizes non-existent diaper production (see here)
  • Venezuela Reaches the Final Stage of Socialism: No Toilet Paper (see here)
  • Venezuela: Chavista Says 35,000 Seeking Food Went to Colombia ‘for Fun’ (see here)

Or as one can say summing up the above: just another day in FrancisParadise!

But not all the news is bad news, The FrancisGovernment of Venezuela is saving the environment by turning off the air conditioners in the morgues. (see here) But I digress…

Now that your humble blogger has provided for you, dear reader a solid background as to the situation on the ground in the FrancisEconomy of Venezuela, we can pose the  following quesiton:

Who is responsible for this Venezuelan FrancisGarden of Eden?

Naturally, one needs to start at the top, namely Victor Chavez, Nicolas Maduro and the murderous Castro boys in Cuba. But they could not have done it alone. They must have had help.

And guess who one of the helpers was?

Once again, for emphasis:

Now, in April 2002, when Chávez was out of office for a couple of days, people heard Father Sosa proclaim that the grassroots “Christian” communities would defend the Revolution to death, that the “right-wing” [?] would see the strength of the Revolution…

So it turns out that Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal and his Venezuelan FrancisJesuits were an integral part in this PROCESS that could be described as the “development of the FrancisEconomy in Venezuela.

And what were the consequences for Fr. Arturo Sosa’s  stemming from his involvement in this DISASTER of EPIC PROPORTIONS that he helped orchestrate in the FrancisEconomy of Venezuela?

Well, he was “elected” to be the Superior General of the Society of Jesus.

Which is actually good news!

And I don’t mean to minimize the suffering of the poor Venezuelan population mind you.

It is OBJECTIVELY GOOD NEWS in that: with leadership and the “intellectual wherewithal” and “prowess” of a Fr. Sosa, the Society of Jesus should move closer to the end of the PROCESS upon which the Jesuits set out in the early to mid 1960’s. And the end of that PROCESS is that figurative or imaginative place where forgotten things or people go, i.e. the trash heap of history. (see here)

Which coincidentally brings to mind another FrancisCardinal, one can say, the original FrancisCardinal who had a similar experience in his dioceses. This FrancisCardinal also created a MESS OF EPIC PROPORTION in his FrancisDiocese. The standard of measure for JUDGING the “success” of the Buenos Aires FrancisDiocese is the OBJECTIVE FACT that the seminary of the Buenos Aires Archdiocese, an Archdiocese that is comprised of over 3 million souls, ordained just 3 priests this year. (see here)

And for his efforts, this FrancisCardinal did a “one better” than the above described EPIC FAILURE, by OBJECTIVE STANDARDS AND MEASURE mind you, in the person of Fr. Sosa.

This EPIC FAILURE FrancisCardinal was “elected” to the See of St. Peter.

Where he is working his FrancisMagic at present.

Concluding, what is important to take away from the above is that no matter what the intentions of any individual, if the PROCESS is faulty, the end will be the TRASH HEAP.

And this rule holds for the US Presidential Election and his subsequent term in office as it does for the occupant of the See of St. Peter. Now the PROCESS can be a short one or a longer one. Yet the ultimate OUTCOME must be binary (zero/one). That binary outcome is either SUCCESS or FAILURE.

So when we see a situation where individuals who have a history of EPIC FAILURES under their belts, whether it’s Bergoglio and the situation in Argentina as superior of the Jesuits or the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Fr. Sosa and his Chavista revolution in Venezuela or Sick Hillary and her EPIC DISASTER in the Middle East just to name three, one thing is for certain. And that thing this is:

for them (and us unfortunately), it can’t end well.

But no matter what, it will end…

And that in and of itself is OBJECTIVELY GOOD NEWS!

Scola Muller

Returning to our Synod of Bishops 2015 theme, two new broadside shots were fired at TeamFrancis and the Kasperian “theology done on the knees” over the last couple of days.

The first shot was fired by Cardinal Scola, the Archbishop of Milan. In an interview published in the Corriere della Sera and translated and posted at the Eponymous Flower blog, the following passages were of note (see here): (with emphasis added)

Cardinal Scola was, as has been the case with Cardinal Walter Kasper, appointed by Pope Francis personally to the synod. Under the impact of the first part of the Synod the Archbishop replied with a rejection of the “new mercy.”

And the key sentence:

When asked whether he could imagine that Pope Francis will make a decision for Communion for remarried divorcees, Cardinal Scola said: “I think, rather, that he will not take it.”

If one reads between the lines, what Cardinal Scola is saying to Francis is: Don’t do it.

The reason that this is significant is due to Cardinal Scola being:

The Cardinal had been the favorite in 2013 in the conclave, and had received the most votes in the first ballot, but did not prevail. His appointment as a member of the synod was seen by observers in this context. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan is among one of the largest Diocese in the world with nearly five million Catholics and is considered the most important in Italy after Rome’s diocese.

And the narrative that has been emerging from the Catholic side, the narrative that will be used to counteract the “new mercy for the serial adulterers” is the following:

“How could we tell the young people who marry today that marriage is indissoluble, when they know that nevertheless there is always a way to escape?” Cardinal Scola brought his rejection to that point. In the direction of Cardinal Kasper the successor of Saint Ambrose said, “I can see no adequate justification for an attitude that claims on the one hand, that the indissolubility of marriage would not be discussed, but appear to deny it simultaneously through its acts.”

As you can see, the counter narrative that the Catholics represent is “an even newer and a more just mercy”. And the “newer more just mercy” is directed at the futures pew sitters. Those who will be putting their hard earned money into the collection plates going forward.

And now we move on to Cardinal Muller. The Prefect of the Holy Office Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith gave a interview which also appeared on the Eponymous Flower blog (see here). Cd. Muller fired with much larger caliber argument than that of Card. Scola. He not only tackled the issue of communion for serial adulterers, but took a swipe at the entire Vatican II substructure that supports this modernist version of the LUV Boat, when he said the following:

“…any separation of theory and practice of the faith would be the manifestation of a subtle Christological heresy in principle “.

Even though the good Cardinal said it with that very pleasant smile of his, the words that were spoken, especially the “H” word must have been hard on the ears of TeamFrancis. Just a reminder, the “H” word was received very badly by the apologists for TeamFrancis when the “good Jesuit” wrote a rather lighthearted post about it (see here). And reinforces the famous Twelve Words of the Great Cardinal (see here).

Further angst must have been caused by the following sentence:

The Prefect of the Vatican Congregation of Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, reiterating that there should be no gap between teaching and pastoral care in the Catholic Church.

With that statement, the Cardinal shot directly at the hull of the entire SS “spirit of Vatican II”. After all, the entire Second Vatican Council was pastoral, and defined no dogma. And the two popes who respectively opened and closed it publicly proclaimed so. And if we remember our hermeneutic of continuity, the entire New Springtime is supposedly based on “praxis” i.e. a new pastoral practice needed for a new 1960’s man, but the dogma has never changed. So by shining the sunlight on this nasty post councilor lesion afflicting the Church, cd. Muller is telling the radicals to think very very carefully about how far they want to go. Because if they go too far, he will sink their boat.

Summa Summarum

I am amazed by how far Card. Muller appears ready to go with his threat. Questioning the “spirit of Vatican II” does not end well for its’ practitioners. If we recall that a heresy is a belief that is at odds with an established dogma, i.e. allowing for the serial adulterers to receive communion, this  would make this praxis a heresy as per cd. Muller.

Furthermore, if the Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith informs the bishops, including the bishop of Rome that if they cross the line, they will proclaiming heresy, this heresy cannot be considered merely one of a material nature, i.e. uttered by a person without the subjective knowledge of its being so, but rather of the formal nature. And this is where the fun can begins.

Next observation is this: when taking the statements of these two senior cardinals together with the news from that other senior cardinal, George Pell, where cd. Pell states that “100’s of millions of Euros” were found in non-disclosed and unknown to the auditors bank accounts, we begin to understand that the game has changed. The game has changed for the very simple reason that whatever leverage that the “axis of evil” of Lehmann/Kasper/Marx had at the Shameful Secret Synod of 2014 with the Kirchensteuer is no more. The Vatican is financially solvent so the Kirchensteuer becomes now a strictly German bishops ‘problem! Yes?

And finally, you just have to wonder how weak Francis is right now, since his Prefect of the CDF and the runner up at the last conclave are both in essence daring Francis to cross the line.

On a PS. I am very impressed with cd. Muller. I think that we might be watching a Catholic conversion in the making. And I am left with one thought: how long until he starts rewriting his theories about the Blessed Virgin?

Prep Fire: National Review Blasts

“The Pope’s Unforced Error”

Over at the National Review, a post appears written by Father Benedict Kiely (pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Stowe, VT)  that provides a good situation report about the  “general battlefield conditions and troop movements”, to use a military metaphor. (Link here) On an aside, cd. Burke will be the head chaplain of a military order, after all. I will not go into the detail, since these are facts that all readers of this blog should be familiar with. What I will highlight are certain aspects of Fr. Kiely’s post that provide “optics” of the reign of the bishop of Rome Francis, in contrast to those provided to the general public by the slavishly adoring MSM.

Fr. Kiely starts with an introduction:

Burke has been “promoted” downward to a position that is normally a sinecure for an elderly cardinal past his sell-by date. As the new cardinal protector of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Burke, a youthful 66, will now oversee the Knights of Malta, one of the oldest existing military orders in the Catholic Church. They are known today mainly for their works of charity.

Next Fr. Kiely takes aim at the MSM image of ” Francis the reformer”:

Despite the image of Francis as a man of dialogue and compromise, he is regarded in Rome as the most authoritarian pope in decades. He is also a man known to settle scores. Immediately after his election as pope, he swiftly moved an Argentinian bishop known to have been his chief opponent when he was archbishop of Buenos Aires — another “downward” promotion — transferring him to an obscure position in the Vatican bureaucracy. In the space of just over two years, Pope Bergoglio has been removing, or not reappointing, many of the key men put in place by his predecessor, Benedict XVI.

Once the point has been driven home of just how petty and vindictive the bishop of Rome in fact is, Fr. Kiely contrasts him with Cardinal Burke:

Even Cardinal Burke’s enemies — and he has many, and they are all ideological — admit that he is exceptional in that he has never evinced ambition for higher office. But Francis brooks no opposition, so Burke had to go.

Next the “crimes” of the Great Cardinal are presented:

His crimes? Burke upholds traditional Biblical teaching on marriage and encourages devotion to the traditional Latin Mass.He is regularly seen in different countries celebrating a liturgy that Francis regards as a relic of the past, although the churches where these Masses are celebrated are usually filled with large young families, and they produce a wealth of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. (Buenos Aires was known to have hardly any vocations in the seminary during the time that Jorge Mario Bergoglio was archbishop.) But perhaps Cardinal Burke’s most glaring offense was that he declared that Catholic politicians who support abortion should be refused Communion.

Not a very pleasant picture is presented of the present occupant of the See of St. Peter. And this portrait is being produced by a member of the secular clergy in good standing.

Once the facts about the papacy of Francis are enumerated, Fr. Kiely presents the reader with a wider context to the quite “pathological” situation in Rome. Fr. Kiely writes;

What does this apparently inter-ecclesiastical dispute matter to the wider world? In the first place, it shows how the only large global institution that represents what might be called the traditional view of the family and society is divided, and that division is clearly bad for those who care about the future of the family and civil society. On a more positive note: This could mark the last rally of a certain Sixties mentality in rapid decline. Unless they are weather-vanes tilting with the wind of ambition, the priests and bishops ordained since Saint John Paul II and Pope Benedict have nothing in common with the bell-bottomed theology that, at least for a season, has been revived in Rome.

And here Fr. Kiely identifies the problem that the most astute observers of this pontificate have been expressing for 32 odd months, namely this: the Francis papacy is stuck in a time warp circa 1968.

And as a final “kick in the proverbial teeth” of the present pontiff, Fr. Kiely writes this:

There is one possible final irony. Some have speculated that Pope Francis, who turns 78. next month, will follow the example of his predecessor and eventually step down from the Petrine office, perhaps at age 80. In any case, Raymond Burke will likely be a significant figure at the conclave to elect his successor, and already some observers are predicting that the courtiers’ foe will end up as the next king.

Yes dear readers, the “cd. Burke as papabile” is starting to get traction, and Fr. Kiely does a great service by getting it out into the public domain.

And on a final note, after reading this piece, the part that stays in my mind is the following passage:

In today’s Vatican, the courtiers have the upper hand. It is as a patriot, a man discontented with yet loving his Church, that Burke in his new position will enjoy a freedom that until now he did not have.

Let’s just pray that this passage gets lodged in the collective conscious of the readers of the National Review and not only.

Prep Fire: de Mattei Blasts Away

“The removal of a Great Cardinal” (via the Rorate Caeli blog) is the title of Roberto de Mattei’s latest salvo fired at the Bergoglian Vatican. De Mattei piece is precision guided at the most vulnerable aspects of not so much the Bergolian papacy (this will end soon enough), but rather at the entire post conciliar church structure. This article will no doubt have little or no impact on the main player and his inner circle, but what it should do is provoke a pause for reflection for de Mattei’s target audience, the Vatican nomenclatura. He is telling them that it is Burke today, it could be you tomorrow and besides, Bergoglio is on his last legs.

There are several notable observations that de Mattei makes, that should provide food for thought to anyone close to the present power structure. The first observation for why cd. Burke was punished pertains to the Kirchensteuer. De Mattei writes:

The only plausible reason is that the Pope has offered the head of Cardinal Burke on a plate to Cardinal Kasper and, through him, to Cardinal Karl Lehmann, the ex-President of the German Episcopal Conference. Everyone knows, actually, at least in Germany, that the one who is still pulling the strings of dissent against Rome is precisely Lehmann, an old disciple of Karl Rahner.

By highlighting the German church tax from the onset, a topic of much discussion in Vatican circles these day, de Mattei is hitting directly at the funding arm of the present regime. By shining more sunlight at this open cancerous lesion, and without going into the specifics, specifics who everyone in those circles knows all too well, de Mattei is telling the nomenclatura not to count on the Kirchensteuer to fund their retirement benefits.

Next observation is how nicely de Mattei works the Rahner disciples into the story line. He writes:

Fifty years after Vatican II, Rahner’s shadow is hovering once again over the Catholic Church, making his voice heard in the pro-homosexual positions of some of his followers, younger than Lehmann and Kasper, like Cardinal Archbishop of Munich, Reinhard Marx and Archbishop of Chieti, Bruno Forte.

He brings them in for two reasons. First is to highlight the irrational cult like emotional attachment that these folks have for their former “el comandante”. More importantly thought, what de Mattei is doing is naming names. Once again, he is telling the nomenclatura to “choose their friends wisely”.

The third observation relates to what’s known in secular academia as the law of unintended consequences. This is also aimed at de Mattei target audience. When he writes:

We wonder what the consequences of these politics will be, keeping in mind two principles: the philosophical one of the heterogeneous of the ends, for which certain actions produce effects contrary to the intentions, and the theological principle of the action of Providence in history, through which, according to the words of St. Paul omnia cooperantur in bonum. (Rom 8.28). All things in the designs of God work for the good.

de Mattei is once again reinforcing the concept that when things go horribly wrong, it’s not the senior management that will bear the brunt of the consequences, but rather the junior staff and the office help.

And just to drive the point home, de Mattei uses the “no matter how much lipstick is put on the V II pig” argument when he writes:

The cases of Cardinal Burke and the Franciscans of the Immaculate, like the one of the Society of Saint Pius X (although on a different level) are only signs of a widespread malaise which makes the Church look like a ship adrift. Yet even if the Society of St. Pius X were closed down, the Franciscans of the Immaculate dissolved or “re-educated” and Cardinal Burke reduced to silence, the crisis in the Church would not cease to be grave.

It is what it is, and nothing that these named parties do, either individually or collectively will stop the disintegration of the Church brought about by the “new springtime”, is the message that de Mattei delivers.

And the final observation which I think is important is that de Mattei tells the nomenclatura that no matter how bad it looks now, all is not lost. There is a solution to their problem. All they need to do is close ranks, put their faith in Tradition and pray, and the storm will pass. De Mattei writes:

Faithful Catholics are not discouraged: they close ranks, direct their eyes to the perennial and immutable Magisterium of the Church, which coincides with Tradition; they look for strength in the Sacraments, continue to pray and act, in the conviction that in the history of the Church, as in the life of men, the Lord intervenes only when everything appears lost. What is asked of us is not resigned inaction, but a confident struggle in the assurance of victory.

So stay calm, fight the good fight and all will be well.

Sound advice for the Faithful as well as for the rest.
