Francis & JPII

Today’s post will be a quick one. I have been able to locate an article on an Argentinien website which nicely explains the present situation in the Catholic Church in Argentina. (see Spanish version here) I have translated it below and am posting it FOR THE RECORD. I have also included a chronology of Jorge Bergoglio’s positions during his ecclesiastical career in Argentina for your reference.

From the evidence below, the picture is not pretty.

Two aspects (DATA POINTS) become quite apparent, especially when superimposing the career timeline of Bergoglio with the timeline of the disintegration of the Catholic Church in Argentina.

The first is the present (as of 2014) divergence between Church attendance in Argentina (20%) with that of other South American countries (70%) as referenced to CARA in the article.

The second is the drop of vocations ( I am assuming for the Buenos Aires dioceses) described in the third paragraph, according to one Father Julio Miranda, that went from 200 at the “end of the 1980’s” to 80 today. That represents a 60 percent drop over a 26 year period (assuming 1990 -2015 as the base period).

Jorge Bergoglio was either the Auxiliary Bishop of Buenos Aires (1992–97) or the Archbishop of Buenos Aires (1998–2013), during most of this time, absent 2 preceding years and the three years after his enthronement. Practically the entire disintegration of vocations in the diocese of Buenos Aires coincided with the time during which he was directly responsible for the diocese (1998-2013) or held a high level position of authority (1992-1997). Furthermore, the disintegration of the entire Catholic Church in Argentina coincided with at least the last half of his tenure in Argentina, i.e. over the years in which he was a Cardinal-Priest of San Roberto Bellarmino (2001–13) and head of the Argentine Church.

I will end here.

Concluding, the situation of the Catholic Church in Argentina is a disaster. That disaster can be laid at the feet of one Jorge Bergoglio, presently the bishop of Rome, Francis. It was under his watch that the Argentine Church began to resemble, in terms of church attendance the national churches in Western Europe more than they resemble the national churches on the South American continent. It was also under his administration that clerics were advance, such as Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernandez, of “Heal Me With Your Mouth: The Art Of Kissing” fame. It was also under his watch that priest like Father Julio Miranda and the anonymous priest cited in the article were and still are allowed to present their quite “earthy”, shall we call the beast by name- TRANSRATIONAL diagnoses and views.

Is it any wonder then, that there is a “crisis of vocations” in this country. Once again, the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, a jurisdiction that contains 3 million inhabitants, will be ordaining 3 priests this year.

I say again: T H R E E

I would call this a case of: EPIC FAIL

How is it that no one in Rome seen it coming?

Priesthood: The crisis of vocations in the Church hits

Topic for Sunday

The number of seminarians dropped by almost half over the last 15 years in the country. In 2016, the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires receive only 15 candidates. Reasons.

This year, 2016, only three seminarians will be ordained as priests and will be integrated in the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires. This number, in an ecclesiastical jurisdiction which contains more than three million inhabitants and was the home of origin of the current Pope, marks an unprecedented decline of the priesthood as a choice for the consecrated life. This grim diagnosis that applies to the diocesan church also prevails in most religious orders, suffer from the crisis of priestly vocations. The result of this phenomenon is that a number of parishes in Greater Buenos Aires and inside the country have only occasional coverage of a permanent priest- who occasionally resolves administrative issues or administers the sacraments, but who does not live in the parish, or some dioceses call on foreign priests, from Poland or recently evangelized countries like South Korea, where growth is being sustained. Meanwhile some religious congregations which are in crisis, giving up their parishes to the local dioceses of their jurisdiction, because the priest died or was transferred and no longer have new replacements to fill the vacancies.

In the statistics of the OSE (Organisation of seminaries in Argentina) this steady decline is observed. Of the 1,501 seminarians studying to become priests in the country in 1999, the figure had declined to 827 by 2014. In the case of the Metropolitan Seminary of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, located in Villa Devoto, this year the number of seminairians is 80, with only 15 new entrants, three of them from the slums of the city and Greater Buenos Aires.

The appointment of an Argentine pope, precisely from the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, with the idea of the “Church of the peripheries”, “missionary” (church) that will convey “the joy of the Gospel”, could not mitigate the fall in consecrated vocations. The phenomenon that is evident in Argentina is common in secular Europe, but not in Latin America, much less in Asia and Africa, where the rate of attendance at weekly mass is about 70% of the Catholic population, compared to 20% on the old continent, according to a 2015 report by the Center for the Applied in the Apostolate (CARA) Research.

Father Julio Miranda, rector of the metropolitan seminary admits to the difficulties. “For now Francisco has had no impact on revenue. These are historical movements that take time to change. In the ’80s, there was a boom of vocations, there were 200 seminarians and then the decreases set in. In those times, being a priest was seen as a social distinction, the “pretty little figure” (possibly “joy of..) of the family. In these times, it is a service to God’s people, to people, depending upon a call that many themselves do not understand. Parents do not always accept with joy when their child wants to be a priest, “said Father Miranda Clarin.

A priest who forms seminarians in the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Buenos Aires, who asked not to be named, believes that beyond the “exogenous” factors, such as the secularization of contemporary culture and notion that “the ideal of priestly celibacy is no longer valued” there is a reluctance to recognize internal factors. “The seminary is an obsolete institution and reforms to modernize it are no longer enough. Like any internship environment tends to produce regressive effects on people, and in this context, this activity (priestly formation) does not stimulate psychological maturity, sense of responsibility, inner freedom.

The seminarian almost always moves in ecclesiastical circles, without sufficient contact with the outside world, and this usually leads to a clerical vision, which places the Church (not necessarily Christ) as the central reference for understanding the world,” says the priest. The seminary lasts eight years. It begins with an introductory course, six years of philosophy and theology with a semester of pastoral experience in the parish, and the diaconate, leaving the candidate ready for ordination. Overall, about 60% of those who start the introductory course come to the finish.

“Everyone who enters has the intuition that God calls him, but there are many eyes watching them (to discern) if they meet the usual features of that call. There is a time to talk, days of prayer, discernment. And if the call is not there, he is asked to look elsewhere. The seminary is like a courtship. If one realizes that things are not going well, they are not going. The living conditions are not easy. Celibacy, poverty, obedience … But following the vocation is what makes them happy,” said Father Miranda. In church tradition, new vocations came from religious schools, parishes, days of prayer or from the life of faith that was been transmitted in their families. But the parish youth groups are becoming smaller and continuous additional process of dechristianization with the exodus to other confessions, mark an epochal crisis that impacts the Church.

“It is true that the world is moving faster than the proposals that we propose for addressing the priestly vocation” admits Father Julian Anton, director of the Vocational Institute San Jose, a minor seminary in Buenos Aires. But also the world had changed the profile of vocations. Today young people reach the seminary practically alone, without a family or absent parents previously. The climate of faith in the home no longer exists. But if they decided to come, it is because they made a serious search, a solid choice, which is much more complex than choosing a profession. “

Seminarian trainers agree that there are still no signs of vitality and renewal that can reverse the decline in priestly vocations. Neither in Argentina nor in the same Archdiocese gave a pope to command the Universal Church. Perhaps the answers, rather than secular society, are in the ecclesial reality itself.

Archbishop De Kesel

For today’s post, I intended to do an expose demonstrating  the process by which something RATIONAL devolves into something TRANSRATIONAL and I was going to use BREXIT as my base case. However, a post appeared yesterday on the Eponymous Flower blog which appears to serve as a much better example, if for no other reason than that the subject matter is much closer to home, shall we say.

So let’s begin.

First and as usual, we check into that neo-modernist experiment which we have termed as the FRANCISECONOMY, that is taking place in Venezuela at present. (see here) Yesterday’s development would seem to indicate that external pressures are being placed on the FrancisParadise of Hugo Chavez and his successor Nicolás Maduro by…. OPEC of all organizations. Here is the latest: (see here)

OPEC May Be Forcing Venezuela Into Regime Change

A key U.S. Congressman believes that the actions by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) regarding oil production could lead to regime change in Venezuela, according to an interview published last week.

…

“If Maduro doesn’t have the oil revenues to continue supporting the socialist government… there may be regime change,” Duncan said, in reference to the recent spate of mass protests against the regime led by President Nicolás Maduro.

These demonstrations staged by Venezuelans who are irate at the shortages of medicine and food supplies have become increasingly violent over the past week.

But that’s not to say that EVERYONE in the FrancisParadise of Venezuela is “irate at the shortages”. Actually, there are some folks who are doing quite well. Here is this passage to support the last contention: (see here)

A defining characteristic of socialism in all its forms in all places and at all times is a relatively small political elite (and its “private sector” cronies) that lives lavishly by plundering its population, destroying its economy,  imposing a regime of equality of poverty and misery; and turning almost everyone into a dependent on the state for survival.

Hmmm….

Sounds like the author is describing FRANCISCHURCH. But I digress…

The latest glaring example of the disgusting and immoral corruption of socialism’s one percenters is Venezuela, a country that has “long been the darling of the [socialist] Left,” according to a June 16 article in the Daily Mail.  The article, authored by Jake Wallis Simons, has the headline:  “Super-rich socialists quaff champagne in Venezuelan country clubs while middle-class mothers scavenge for food in the gutter . . . even the dogs are starving.”

We note: in a corrupt “socialist” system, such as the Venezuelan neo-modernist economic experiment, a corrupt “one-percenters” are still in a position to “quaff champagne… while middle-class mothers scavenge for food”.

The explanation given for this observed dichotomy of living standards is as follows:

Black markets are pervasive, also just like the old Soviet Union, but the wealthy make out the best from this situation because only they can afford to pay the astronomically higher black-market prices or to pay the bribes demanded by black marketeers.  The politically-connected socialist elite lives high on the hog, entertaining themselves quite lavishly at such places as the Caracas Country Club, where the membership fee alone is almost 500 times the average annual salary of a middle-class Venezuelan worker.

Now please hold that thought…

And now for something completely different… (not really)

June is ordinations month in the Northern Hemisphere for the Universal Roman Catholic Church. With respect to ordaining new priests, it has come to my attention that there are sectors of the Universal Church that are doing quite well. And there are others that are doing… well… not so well.

The reason that your humble blogger focuses on vocations is that it is this area of the Universal Church that allows us to gauge the “sustainability” of the Institution itself. Furthermore, it allows us to draw inferences about the “long-term viability” of the Institution since these new priests of today will be the management cadre of the Church in the not too distant future.

Right!

So let us begin with the best performers and digress to the “not best”.

  • SSPX (19) –
    • The SSPX ordained 7 priests and 9 deacons on the 3rd of June of 2016 at the seminary in Winona Minnesota (see here). These ordinations increased the number of SSPX priests above 600 for the first time ever (see here). At the end of June, the SSPX will ordain 12 more priests in their Econe Switzerland and Zaitzkofen Germany seminaries bringing the total to 19. Furthermore, the growth of the SSPX has been so “steady” that the SSPX have built a new seminary in rural Virginia, the first one of its size in the US in 100+ years, in order to accommodate the “excess supply” of candidates that the Society is experiencing (see here).
  • Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest (11) –
    • The ICKSP will ordain 11 deacons to the Sacred Priesthood on the 7th of July Anno Domini 2016. A further 8 sub-deacons and 7 deacons will likewise be ordained in July of this year.
  • Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) (8) –
    • The FSSP ordained 4 Deacons to the Holy Priesthood on the 28th of May in their Denton Nebraska seminary. (see here) At the FSSP seminary in Wigratzbad, a further 4 Deacons were ordained to the Holy Priesthood on the 18th of June, bringing the total to 8.
  • Institute of the Good Shepherd (IBP) (5) –
    • The IBP will ordain 5 deacons to the Sacred Priesthood on the 25th of June. A further 5 sub-deacons will likewise be ordained to the deaconate in June of this year.
  • Fraternity of the Holy Apostles (FHA) (0) –
    • Ordinations planned for June have been indefinitely suspended by the local ordinary, one Msgr. Jozef De Kesel, the new archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels.

Hhhuuuuu?

For those who are not familiar with the Fraternity of the Holy Apostles, (see here) the Eponymous Flower blog has the scoop. In a post titled Daneels Protégé Kicks New Priestly Society Out of Brussels — Too ManyVocations, it would appear that the FHA is a community of secular priest established (canonically erected) by Msgr. André-Joseph Léonard, the former archbishop of Mechenlen-Brusselson and primate of Belgium, on the 7th of April 2013. Archbishop Léonard allowed the Society to run priestly formation and gave them the two parishes of Sainte-Catherine / Sint-Katelijnekerk in Brussels and Saint-Joseph in the earlier Flemish, today almost entirely French-speaking community of Uccle (Ukkel) south of Brussels. Furthermore, Léonard established it, not only because of the secular forces in Belgium, but those powerful hostile internal forces in the church, which necessitated a parallel priestly formation from outside the diocesan seminary.

And what were the results of the Archbishop’s efforts, you may ask dear reader?

The Brotherhood was able to achieve what the progressive diocesan institutions were no longer able, leading young men “to the beauty of that call and the service as diocesan priests.”  The Society  is a community of secular priests, but lead a strong community life. It therefore offers the answer to the crisis of world priesthood in Western Europe.

Although the Community is only three years old, it already numbers six priests and 21 seminarians.

Oh my!

Given the above, one would assume that the new Archbishop, one Msgr. Jozef De Kesel should be very happy at the “good fruit” borne from this initiative of his predecessor?

So what was the response of the new FRANCISBISHOP De Kesel?

The new archbishop decided that since the Society was so remarkably successful in the archdiocese, they may form no more priests for the Archdiocese, and thus have to leave Belgium.

Oh my!

That is not what a RATIONAL person would expect. Furthermore, I would term this as a very TRANSRATIONAL decision making process employed by this FRANCISBISHOP and protégé of the incestuous pederast enabling and covering-up member of Team Bergoglio, the self described member of “St. Galen Mafia” and Friend of Francis prelate, namely on Card. Godfried Danneels. (see here)

But what makes the above even more TRANSRATIONAL if not outright bizarre is the following exchange as to the reasoning behind the decision making process of the Danneels’ protégé. Here is the De Kesel position:

The reasoning? Because the majority of seminarians come from France. “In many regions of France, there are no priests […], we do not want to be lacking in solidarity with our neighboring French bishops,” De Kesel said in an official statement.

To which the local Faithful response was:

“The principle of solidarity, of which one (De Kesel) appeals, sounds rather strange. Of the 80 seminarians who are trained for example, in the diocesan seminary of Namur, only 25 are Belgians. Are all the others sent back to their countries of origin? Do all African and Polish priests who help us to proclaim the Word of God in Belgium, have to be sent back home? Is the Catholic Church no longer universal?

This argument does not stand examination, and we hope that there aren’t in reality, hiding purely ideological reasons.”

Strange indeed!

However, this is not the end of the story. In the background is this:

The decision ( Ed note: disband the FHA) disappointed many faithful, who are worried anyway about De Kessels’ plans for the “reorganization” of the diocese. His plan provides for the closure of a third of all churches. It was already prepared for at the time under Danneels (to 2010), but was postponed by Archbishop Léonard, who tried to revive the parishes instead. By appointing De Kesels, Danneels’ Plan is back into effect.

Now where have we seen this “pattern” before? A new ordinary comes into a diocese and begins with shutting down churches? Oh yes, here and here are just two. But I digress…

What makes this case with De Kasel so brazen is that he is sabotaging the work of his predecessor which “bore good fruit” while at the same time:

…calling for intervention in the sacrament of marriage and refer to the shortage of priests for their solutions (abolition of celibacy, women’s deaconate, women priests)… (see here)

Sounds like a case which could allow Francis to take his new “As a Loving Mother” Motu Proprio for a spin?

Nahhhhh…

Excuse the digression…

Which brings us back to the parallel process of the FRANCIS ONE-PERCENTERS in Venezuela. As those “socialist ideologues” in Venezuela are living the high-life off the natural resources (see here) that they are expropriating for their own needs, the FRANCISCHURCH ONE-PERCENTERS in Belgium, led by the new primate FRANCISBISHOP De Kesel are in essence doing the same thing. Whereas the Venezuelan FRANCIS ONE-PERCENTERS  are living off resources that the Venezuelans dig out of the ground and export, the FRANCISCHURCH ONE-PERCENTERS are living off the patrimony accumulated by previous generations of Faithful, patrimony that they inherited by means of their Episcopal appointments.

The circumstances may be different for the respective FRANCIS ONE-PERCENTERS yet the process itself is the same. When the FRANCIS  ONE-PERCENTERS in Venezuela need more funds, they dig oil out of the ground in order to satisfy their needs/desires. When the FRANCISCHURCH ONE-PERCENTERS needs more funds, they sell a part of the inherited patrimony in order to satisfy theirs.

And while there is oil in the ground and patrimony to dispose of, all is well for the FRANCIS ONE-PERCENTERS.

Yet we know from the LEX ARMATICUS that that which does not comply to the et Invisibilium, cannot be either viable or sustainable. I.e. trash-heap of history. (see here)

Or to paraphrase US Congressman, one Mr. Duncan cited in the above OPEC post,

If either Maduro or the FRANCISBISHOPS don’t have the oil/patrimony revenues to continue supporting their socialist government/post-conciliar ecclesiastical structures… there may be regime change.”

And as the LEX ARMATUCUS posits, it is only question of time.

Honorarius I

Stephen VI judges and deposes the cadaver of Pope Honorius

Today we continue with our Economics Week theme. As I mentioned in my last post titled In A Cartesian World… (see here), by examining the subset of the Visibilium Omnium which pertains to economics, one can discern quite easily between what constitutes the RATIONAL and what constitutes the TRANSRATIONAL.

Starting with the TRANSRATIIONAL, the latest headlines from Venezuela is as follows:

Armed Man Breaks Into Venezuela’s Central Bank – Crime In Progress

In addition to violent, and often deadly, looting taking place at virtually every Venezuela venue that still has food, moments ago Reuters reported that – in what appears to be a crime in progress – an armed man has broken into Venezuela’s central bank, and employees were hunkered down in their offices, two sources inside the institution said on Monday.

“An armed person got in,” one of the sources said by text message from the office in downtown Caracas. “We’re shut in our office. We don’t know what’s happening.”

As you can see dear reader, just another day in FrancisParadise!.

And now to the RATIONAL.

Over at the Ann Barnhardt blog, this below post appeared. While reserving judgment for the present time as to the correctness of the conclusion of Ann’s expose, what I will note is the complete RATIONAL nature of her argumentation. Furthermore, she has based her work in part on the work of those anonymous Spanish clerics, chornicling on the Denzinger-Bergoglio website, the “rolling indictment” of the Francis”magisterium”. (see here)

Furthermore, Ann inadvertently addresses an issue which has been a recurring theme of posts written by your humble blogger, namely: how could the Catholic clerics behind the Sacred Vatican Walls allow the FRANCISDISASTER to go on for this long?

Given that the College of Cardinals had the requisite facts (prima facie evidence) at their disposal to remove Francis, obtained from the Team Bergoglio Affair, as early as January of 2015, or one month before the February 2015 consistory, that they did not act CANNOT be explained through RATIONAL reasoning derived from the Code of Canon Law. (see here)

From the point of view of your humble blogger, the above posed question CANNOT be answered from a “theological” or “canonical” perspective. Therefore, all indications are that at the ROOT CAUSE of the FRANCISDISASTER are issues of an economic nature.

I will end here since Ann’s post is quite detailed and long. I would also like to draw your attention to the Veri Catholic organization’s Rome Conference which will take place on the 25th of this month, i.e. this coming Saturday (see here). The Conference will address the consequences of the “Amoris Laetitia” document. I strongly urge all my readers to attend. Those who do not reside in and around Rome, I urge you to follow this Conference via social media.

And now, the Ann Barnhardt essay which I am republishing…

FOR THE RECORD

Vocem Alienorum: The Voice of Antipope Francis Bergoglio Is the Voice of A Stranger

It is now clear to me, and I feel it morally incumbent upon me given my position to publicly state that I believe Jorge Bergoglio, “Francis” to be an Antipope, never having been canonically elected, and that Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI is still the Roman Pontiff.

The sheer quantity of evidence, and the diversity of the confluent evidence sets, is now so utterly overwhelming that I believe that a person, fully informed of the dataset, would have to engage in the willful suspension of disbelief to continue to acknowledge Bergoglio as Roman Pontiff.

I will structure this essay in terms of time.  We will begin with prophecy. Next we will address the “resignation” of Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger in light of what I will refer to as the “Gänswein Thesis”. Next we will address the “election” of Bergoglio in light of the publicly confessed malfeasance of the so-called “St. Gallen Mafia”.  Next we will look at a brief, incomplete list of Antipope Bergoglio’s heresies, blasphemies and antichristological actions.  Finally, we will discuss what exactly this means, both for The Church as a whole, and for me personally, in the hopes that others can be, if not edified, then at least informed by my personal experience.

PROPHECY

Prophecies are given to us by God the Holy Ghost to help us in extraordinary times and circumstances.  God is not trying to trick us or hide from us.  It is quite the opposite, in fact. God in His infinite mercy, knowing that we would bring this ecclesial and social catastrophe upon ourselves, warned us of what would befall us, and left a “trail of breadcrumbs” for us to follow, by sending prophets and even His own Mother, appearing and warning us of events to come should we refuse to turn back to God.  We are now living in those days.

St. Francis of Assisi

Act bravely, my Brethren; take courage, and trust in the Lord. The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.

The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death.

Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.

There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.

Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.

Those who preserve their fervour and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. But the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head [Jesus Christ], these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish [physically] rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.

Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.

Works of the Seraphic Father St. Francis Of Assisi, [London: R. Washbourne, 1882], pp. 248-250

Please note that St. Francis specifically warns that those who remain faithful to Jesus Christ and His Holy Church and refuse to follow the man “not canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate” will be accused of being “rebels and schismatics“.  As this essay and my position works its way through the internet in the coming days and weeks, be sure to note that I will be accused of being, and denounced as, a schismatic. I know this will happen, and therefore have no fear or anxiety about it.

Next, Cardinal Manning:

“The apostasy of the city of Rome from the vicar of Christ and its destruction by Antichrist may be thoughts very new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians of greatest repute. First Malvenda, who writes expressly on the subject, states as the opinion of Ribera, Gaspar Melus, Biegas, Suarrez, Bellarmine and Bosius that Rome shall apostatize from the Faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ and return to its ancient paganism. …Then the Church shall be scattered, driven into the wilderness, and shall be for a time, as it was in the beginning, invisible; hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places; for a time it shall be swept, as it were from the face of the earth. Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church.”
– Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, The Present Crisis of the Holy See, 1861, London: Burns and Lambert, pp. 88-90)

Pope Pius XII:

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a Divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the true Faith of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.”
“A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God.”

Now, Our Lord’s mother herself.

Our Lady of La Salette:

“Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of Antichrist.”

Our Lady of Fatima:

“Satan rules even in the highest positions and determines the direction of things. He will succeed in worming his way even into the highest summits of the Church…”

“But this will be a time of great trials for the Church. Cardinals will oppose cardinals. Bishops will oppose bishops. Satan will walk in their ranks. In Rome, there will be great changes. What is rotten will fall and what will fall will never rise again. Darkness will envelope the Church and the world will be thrown into a panic.”

I will stop there simply for the sake of brevity, but even the most cursory investigation into prophecies reveals a common, overarching theme: Mass apostasy – FROM THE TOP DOWN.

Clearly, we are seeing the fulfillment of these prophecies. To deny this is to deny obvious, objective reality.

The “Resignation” of Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger

On 11 February, ARSH 2013, Pope Benedict XVI announced that he would resign the papacy effective 28 February ARSH 2013 at 8:00pm Rome time.  After his “resignation”, Ratzinger still wore the papal white cassock, still referred to himself as “Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI”, and continued to live in the Vatican.

On 20 May, ARSH 2016, Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger’s personal secretary and confidant Archbishop Georg Gänswein delivered a speech at the Gregorian University in Rome in which he described in detail Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger’s views on his status as pope. Gänswein stated openly that Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger considers himself still to be a participant in the Petrine Ministry, which by his “resignation” he “expanded”, with his role being “contemplative”, while his successor’s role is “active”. He further stated that Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger believes that his resignation was “quite different” to that of Pope Celestine V, and that it is specifically for this reason that Pope Benedict XVI did NOT revert to his given name and continues to wear the papal white cassock while living inside the Vatican Walls.

They key here lies in Canon Law, specifically Canon 188.

Canon 188
A resignation made out of grave fear that is inflicted unjustly or out of malice, substantial error, or simony is invalid by the law itself.

They key here is the up-until-now almost incomprehensible and ignored provision for “substantial error”.  What could that possibly mean?  Up until now, it was speculated that if a pope were to resign thinking erroneously, for example, that he were OBLIGED to resign at a certain age, or some such, that this was what was being referenced.  But to think that a pope could be so ignorant is ridiculous, indeed.  No.  We now know what “substantial error” is.  Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger made a “substantial error” in believing that the papacy could be “expanded” – in this case, bifurcated into a diarchy.  Pope Benedict XVI submitted an invalid resignation not because he was coerced, but because he mistakenly believed and continues to believe that he could at once resign, thus allowing for the election of a successor, and yet still remain a Pope – note the use not of the definite article “the”, but of the indefinite article “a”.  This is SUBSTANTIAL ERROR if ever, ever there were so, and thus, according to Canon 188, Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger’s resignation of 28 February ARSH 2013 was “invalid by the law itself”, and thus, he remains the one and only Roman Pontiff, whether or not he believes it or likes it.

As a corollary to this, it might be argued that since Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger has publicly acknowledged Bergoglio as Pope, that Ratzinger has himself promulgated schism by acknowledging a man he knows to be an antipope as pope. My response to this is that Ratzinger truly believes his SUBSTANTIAL ERROR. Ratzinger truly believes – wrongly – that BOTH he and Bergoglio are “participants in the Petrine ministry”, and thus that he does NOT think that he is schisming the Church.

At this point, let me make it clear that I am in no way trying to paint Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger as blameless or “the good guy” in all of this – his error and his actions have been catastrophic and have led directly to countless souls being scandalized unto damnation by Antipope Bergoglio.  Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger’s ontology is CLEARLY warped, and in retrospect, we should not be altogether shocked by this given his activities and associations during the mid-20th century, specifically during the failed Second Vatican Council, and his lifelong defense of that clearly failed council.  However, he was validly elected Pope, and, according to Canon 188, having submitted a resignation made out of “substantial error”, still is the one and only Roman Pontiff, and I do not believe that it was his malicious, malevolent intention to schism the Church, or to consciously promulgate an antipope. I think that Joseph Ratzinger simply made one of the biggest mistakes in the history of the Church. And he will answer for it.

I further anticipate that in the days and weeks following the publishing of this piece, that I will be called a “sedevacantist”.  If and when you see this, take it as certain proof that the person in question either did not read this essay, or is dishonest.  I clearly do NOT believe the See of Peter is vacant.  I believe that Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger is still the Roman Pontiff, and will be until he either dies, or VALIDLY resigns.

The “Election” of Bergoglio

The trail of breadcrumbs continues as we look at the conclave and “election” of Bergoglio in March of ARSH 2013.  In September of ARSH 2015, Cardinal Daneels, a notorious Belgian pro-sodomite and protector of incestuous pedophiles, who is one of Bergoglio’s top lieutenants, openly, proudly revealed the existence of a “mafia” – his term – which calls itself the St. Gallen Mafia.  It is a group of Cardinals whose agenda was the opposition of Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI.  Daneels happily admitted that this St. Gallen Mafia openly electioneered and campaigned outside of the conclave for Jorge Bergoglio to be installed as “pope”, and that once installed that Bergoglio would then radically and permanently transform the Church.

This is an excommunicable offense, according to none other than Pope John Paul II’s document Universi Dominici Gregis.  While this alone does not appear to invalidate an election, in combination with the other evidence streams, it adds to the overall dataset indicating that something is terribly, terribly wrong, and that a satanic corruption is present at the very, very highest levels of the Vatican, and is especially concentrated around the very person of Jorge Bergoglio.

Bergoglio’s Litany of Heresies

In the interest of brevity, I will refer you to DenzingerBergoglio.com , who are now up to 134 articles on statements made by Bergoglio that savor of heresy – and this compendium is woefully incomplete. But, let us look at just a few, and ask ourselves, “Whose voice do I hear? Is it the voice of Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd, or is it the voice of the serpent?”

When Bergoglio says that souls that do not achieve the Beatific Vision are annihilated, I do NOT hear the voice of Jesus Christ.  I hear the voice of satan.

When Bergoglio says that “the Spirit” is telling him that the words of Jesus Christ are void, and that to adhere to the words of Christ Almighty is “resisting the Spirit” – that is, the Second and Third Persons of the Triune Godhead are in opposition to each other, I do not hear the voice of Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd.  I hear the voice of a blasphemer.

When Bergoglio says that the Blessed Virgin Mary perhaps, while standing at the foot of The Cross, accused God of deceiving her, I hear not the voice of Jesus Christ the Good shepherd, I hear the voice of the devil.

When Bergoglio says that pious Catholics are “divinizers” and “idolaters” – violations of the First Commandment – I do not hear the voice of Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd.  I hear the voice of satan.

When Bergoglio says that God wills mortal sin, I do not hear the voice of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd.  I hear the voice of the serpent.

When Bergoglio says that “the great majority” of sacramental marriages are null, and that unmarried, cohabiting couples have “a real marriage” with “the grace of a real marriage”, I do not hear the voice of Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd, I hear the voice of a ravenous wolf.

When Bergoglio directly analogizes the Great Commission to spread the Gospel and Baptize all nations, to islamic jihad, I do not hear the voice of Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd, I hear the voice of an antichrist.

By Whose Authority Do I Presume to Denounce Bergoglio?

I titled this piece “Vocem Alienorum” from John 10 – the Good Shepherd discourse:

Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers (vocem alienorum).

This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what He spoke to them. Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. I am the door. By Me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.

I am the Good Shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know Me. As the Father knoweth Me, and I know the Father: and I lay down My life for my sheep.
John 10: 1-15

The notion that we laymen – the sheep – are NOT to listen and discern whose voice it is that we hear is abject lunacy.  The notion the we laymen – the sheep – are to sit and wait for the hirelings – that is to say today’s faithless and effeminate clergy and prelates – to TELL US that the lying, hissing heresies and blasphemies we hear are, in fact, the words of a wolf before we react is clearly refuted by Our Blessed Lord.  Further, the notion that we the sheep should willfully suspend disbelief and follow A WOLF if the hirelings tells us to, is, again, utterly irrational patent absurdity which is explicitly refuted by Our Lord and Savior in the Gospels.

We laymen, the sheep, are to listen and discern. If we hear the voice of satan and follow it, we will answer for it as we stand alone, as individuals, before Jesus Christ at our particular judgments. Blaming the hirelings will be no defense.  It is abundantly clear by now that to follow the heretical, blasphemous Bergoglio is to turn away from the sweet voice of Our Savior, and instead to follow a wolf.

It is also very instructive at this point to revisit Galatians Chapter 1.  St. Paul could have put this caution in no stronger terms.  It speaks for itself:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.
-Galatians 1: 8-9

Who am I to judge?

WHO DO I HAVE TO BE?

Bergoglio’s Mental Fitness

The notion that Bergoglio is “non compos mentis” is a fantasy.  He contradicts himself because in his evil, warped mind, contradiction is not only non-problematic, it is a valuable tactic to deceive, confuse, obscure and provide so-called “plausible deniability”.  Bergoglio has stated openly that he wants chaos, he seeks and encourages chaos.  Contradiction is a key element of chaos.

Bergoglio says he doesn’t remember things when asked specific questions.  In terms of questions asked about his documents, he genuinely does NOT remember specifics of the text because HE DID NOT WRITE THE TEXTS.  He farmed them out to ghostwriters whom are co-conspirators in his evil ideology.  Bergoglio has little-to-no familiarity with the footnotes in Amoris Laetitia.  At other times he claims to not remember things because he is a liar.  It really is that simple.  This man has been at war with Jesus Christ and His Holy Church for decades.  To blame his actions on senility or a degenerative brain disease is simply pious fantasy, and not realistic.

What This Means In Practical Terms

First and foremost: Masses in which an antipope is commemorated in the Canon by the priest offering the Holy Sacrifice IS A VALID MASS.  The Eucharist is confected, the Holy Sacrifice is offered.

Further, I have been assured in the strongest possible terms that for me to receive Holy Communion in a Mass in which I know that Bergoglio has been commemorated as Pope is NOT an act of hypocrisy on my part. I know that the Mass is valid.  I know that the Eucharist was confected. I know that Our Lord is desirous to come to me and I to Him in the Sacrament of the Altar, provided I am in a state of grace.

If my position on Bergoglio is correct, which I obviously believe that it is, what this means is that the commemoration of him as Pope in the Canon is either ILLICIT, or MISTAKEN.  We have a clear historical precedent for this.  During the Great Western Schism, due purely to political intrigue and NOT any questions of heresy, there were three men simultaneously claiming to be pope.  One of these men was the True Pope, and the other two were antipopes.  These antipopes were not blaspheming heretics like Bergoglio.  Again, the entire situation was due purely to POLITICAL INTRIGUE.  And so, two giants of the Church – both saints and one a Doctor of the Church, backed different “popes”.  What this means is that one of these saints was wrong, and one was right.  Who was the saint that backed the True Pope?  It was St. Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church, and laywoman. Did you know that St. Catherine was NOT a professed nun?  She was a Dominican tertiary (third order) who was given permission to wear the Dominican habit.  She was a laywoman.

And who was the saint, one of the true intellectual giants of the Church, who was wrong and backed an antipope?  It was St. Vincent Ferrer, who was a priest, and thus offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass many, many times having commemorated an antipope in the Canon.

Here is an interesting precision: St. Vincent Ferrer’s commemoration of an antipope is not even called “illicit” – it is called “mistaken”.

In terms of this situation, I strongly suspect that the standard will be much higher.  Bergoglio is a flagrant blaspheming heretic.  St. Vincent Ferrer did not back a blaspheming heretic – he backed a man involved in political intrigue so convoluted that it was extremely difficult to tell who was the True Pope.  All of the information outlined in the sections above has been widely reported and is available to almost every priest on the planet via the internet – oftentimes through a smartphone that almost every priest on earth carries on his physical person. Further, there is a video record of many of Bergoglio’s heresies. I suspect that illicaity is far more in play than mistakenness in these dark days.

Rebuttals

I already know too well what the responses to this will be, so I will answer them immediately to save us all time.

First:  Ann Barnhardt is a cuckoo-pants conspiracy theorist who has finally “gone sedevacantist and left the Church”

I respond: I believe that Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger is still the Roman Pontiff and thus the See of Peter is occupied and has been all along, and I am still very much in the Church, and went to Mass and received Holy Communion this morning from a priest in a community 100% in unity with the See of Peter. Antipope Bergoglio was commemorated in the Canon, and I know this not because I could hear it (obviously – the Canon is said silently in the Venerable Gregorian Rite), but because I have specifically discussed this with the priest who offered the Sacrifice, and I know his position vis-a-vis Bergoglio as of 24 hours previous.

Further, the accusation of mental instability or a detachment from reality with regards to me is something I am by now used to – from the very closest of associates all the way down to the saddest of internet combox trolls, and I offer it to Our Lord, carrying His Cross to Calvary, bearing the scoffs and affronts, reproaches and calumnies that He suffered.  If I am wrong, please God let me be corrected.  If I am right, thank God for consoling me with the truth.

Also please remember that it is a frankly brilliant “chess strategy” that satan has set up and executed in forcing people who call out actual, genuine “conspiracies”, hidden crimes and societal abnormalities to be instantly lumped in with the truly mentally impaired people who believe in such things as chemtrails, shape-shifting lizard-Jews, underground civilizations and pretty much every other plot device from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I know I will be lumped in with these people, and view it as, to continue the chess analogy, sacrificing a pawn, knight or bishop in order to liberate the queen.  So be it.

Second: “No one else is following you. No one else is saying this, most especially no one with any authority.”

I respond: Truth is not a democracy or a popularity contest.  Either Bergoglio is the Pope or he is not.  My thoughts on this do not determine Bergoglio’s status.  All I am doing is conforming my rational intellect to the truth.  If Bergoglio is not the Pope today, then he never was.  Bergoglio did not “cease being the pope” when my rational intellect definitively apprehended that he was an Antipope.  And the same goes for everyone else.  If Bergoglio is Antipope, even if the entire human race now alive on earth unanimously says that he is the Pope – that does not matter.  The ontological reality is outside of the human mind – no matter how many minds may believe in a certain proposition. And in this case, we are talking about a supernatural reality.

Third: “You are going to suffer adverse consequences for this.”

I respond: Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum. Be it done to me according to Thy word.

“Ann, your donations will dry up! You are in a precarious financial position as it is, you cannot risk the total cessation of cash flows!”

Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

“Ann, you will lose most of your audience!  Any good you have been doing in terms of education and edification will be lost because people won’t read you or listen to you any more! You are destroying what credibility you had because no one else is saying or will say that Bergoglio is an antipope publicly!”

Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

“Ann, you are going to lose friends over this!”

Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

“Ann, you are going to lose revenue-generating business relationships over this!”

Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

“Ann, you might have to move again, as no one will want you in their parish! You’re poison!”

Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

And so, in the hopes that this will help the countless people who are now, and will be in the future scandalized by Antipope Bergoglio, who look at the evidence and simply cannot explain how it is that his heresies and blasphemies can possibly reconcile to the supernatural reality of the See of Peter, I offer the simple answer that explains every question and clarifies every confusion, and eliminates every scandal:

Jorge Bergoglio is not now and never has been The Vicar of Jesus Christ on Earth.  Jorge Bergoglio is an Antipope, and Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger is the true and only Roman Pontiff alive today, and will remain so until his death, or his valid resignation.

I will conclude with today’s Communion Verse, the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost, Psalm 26: 4:

“One thing I have asked of the Lord, this will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.”

St. Athanasius, pray for us.
St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us.
St. Vincent Ferrer, pray for us.

Before we start, I hope all my readers had a pleasant weekend. I also hope that we all familiarized ourselves with your humble blogger’s suggested weekend reading material which I  published in the post titled From Rationalism To Transrationalism – How We Got Here. (see here) This information should come in handy when reading the below post.

This week, your humble blogger will dedicate all the posts to the area of God’s creation, i.e. the Visibilium Omnium, et Invisibilium dealing with economic affairs. We will be dealing with this subset of human activities since on Thursday, the voters of the United Kingdom will be voting on whether to leave the European Union. The term that this vote has acquired is BREXIT. Furthermore, BREXIT is of interest to our understanding of the present economic situation not only as Catholics (see here) since it very nicely defines the boundary at which RATIONALISM becomes TRANSRATIONALSIM. But more about this in future post.

Today we begin our BREXIT Week with economic TRANSRATIONALISM by checking into another country, one that is the “twinkle in the eye” of Francis, i.e. Venezuela. The FRANCISECONOMY in Venezuela must have taken a turn for the worse since even the FRANCISMEDIA, hear I am referring to the New York Times, cannot ignore it any longer. From the pre-internet era’s “paper of record” (cough… cough), we get the following news (see here):

Hundreds of people here in the city of Cumaná, home to one of the region’s independence heroes, marched on a supermarket in recent days, screaming for food. They forced open a large metal gate and poured inside. They snatched water, flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, potatoes, anything they could find, leaving behind only broken freezers and overturned shelves.

And they showed that even in a country with the largest oil reserves in the world, it is possible for people to riot because there is not enough food.

And just a quick reminder, we are using Venezuela as a proxy to understand the true nature of what is transpiring in other “economic areas”,  including that “economic area” which is inside the Sacred Vatican Walls. We can do this since we understand that the natural laws governing human behavior, i.e. the et Invisibilium holds for all of God’s creation. And that includes humans and clerics, even those clerics which Francis described as “animals”. Furthermore, and more importantly, we can use our methodology – the Pierce/Ockham pragmatic methodology (see here) to predict what the future holds for the FRANCISCHURCH if it continues to pursue it’s TRANSRATIONAL neo-modernist IDEOLOGY based “theology of death” (see here).  Once again, we are able to do this since we know through the LEX ARMATICUS that “those individuals and institutions that comply to the et Invisibilium, will remain a part of the Visibisium Omnium. Those that do not, will be consigned to the trash heap of history”.

Which brings us to today’s subject matter. A post appeared on the Zero Hedge website, which is beginning to be picked up by other Catholic blogs titled Wayne State University Drops Math As General Requirement, Will Replace It With “Diversity” (see here).

The reason that I bring this post to your attention is that it should be of interest since it allows us is to identify and recognize the parallel processes that are taking place in one area of human endeavor – in this case academia and another area of human endeavor, i.e. post-conciliar “theology”. What you dear reader should notice is how strikingly similar the rejection of any form of scientific grounding (scientific methodology) exists in neo-modernist academia and likewise neo-modernist “theological circles”. As an example of the latter, this appeared recently at the One Peter Five blog. (see here).

Furthermore, what we see is that the scientific methodology is being replaced by what can be termed as “an appeal to emotion”. Now where have we encountered this before? Why yes, in Pope St. Pius X Encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis. What we see in academia is exactly the same process that Pope St. Pius X warned about, namely:

For the Modernist Believer, […] it is an established and certain fact that the Divine Reality does really exist in itself and quite independently of the person who believes in it. If you ask on what foundation this assertion of the Believer rests, they answer: in the experience of the individual.

When reading the below post, if you dear reader just substitute “Divine Reality” for “laws of mathematics” in the above citation, you will be surprised how well St. Pius X’s Encyclical explains the underlying reason (ROOT CAUSE) behind the change in the math requirements at Wayne State University. And this should not surprise us since we know that OBJECTIVE REALITY, as expressed by scientific methodology is the enemy of what we can now term as the Cartesian (relating to the French “philosopher” René Descartes) concept of VITAL IMMANANCE. And just to finish off this post, a very good definition is as follows (see here):

[Vital Immanence] is the wholly psychological process of the human consciousness unfolding itself, which has not the remotest likeness to the presence of a transcendent reality abiding within us. God as transcendent is lost to sight; no room is left for any kind of revelation; God is the permanent possibility of progress, He is ever projected as the ideal in advance of each successive stage of evolution and changes as the advance proceeds. (Immanence and Incarnation, p. 68)

And since we are on the subject of Cartesian derived concepts such as Vital Immanenece, please view the above video, since it serves as the perfect example of just this PHENOMENON. In a Cartesian VIRTUAL REALITY, in which the post-conciliar FRANCISCHURCH subsists, 3 x 4 can equal 11. (Longer clip here and here)

The only real question is, given the LEX ARMATICUS 2nd PRINCIPLE: for how long? And that is why all eyes are on Venezuela.

And now…

FOR THE RECORD

Wayne State University Drops Math As General Requirement, Will Replace It With “Diversity”

By Derek Draplin of Michigan Capitol Confidential

A faculty committee has proposed adding a three credit hours requirement in diversity to the general education curriculum at Wayne State University. It also recommended that WSU drop its university-wide requirement in mathematics, an idea that was carried out on June 13.

“We are proposing the creation of specific ‘Diversity’ courses, with students required to take one course in this designation,” said a document from the General Education Reform Committee, which is recalibrating what the university will expect from all students who earn a degree from the state university. It released the proposal in May.

The committee report said, “These courses will provide opportunities for students to explore diversity at the domestic level and consider the ways in which it intersects with real world challenges at the local, national and/or global level.”

In announcing the change in mathematics, the university said, “This decision was made largely because the current (math) requirement is at a level already required by most high school mathematics curriculum.”

Committee co-chair Monica Brockmeyer told the Detroit Free Press, “We felt the math requirement was better left to the various programs and majors to decide and to decide what levels of mathematics would be needed.” She added, “We still continue to support mathematics at Wayne State.” The university has announced that the math requirement in the general education curriculum will be dropped until 2018, or until it is replaced by a new program.

Ashley Thorne, the executive director of the National Association of Scholars, which promotes liberal arts education and academic freedom, was critical of the recommendations.

“Colleges and universities use general education requirements to ensure that students learn the subjects it deems most important,” Thorne said in an email. “Wayne State University’s decision to drop math and add diversity to its requirements reveals that its leaders do not have their priorities straight.”

“Mathematical ability is an objective and practical skill that will serve students the rest of their lives, which is why it has traditionally been a core part of college curricula. ‘Diversity’ is not an academic subject. It is a concept invented to classify people by their social identities,” she said. “Focusing on individuals’ race, ethnicity, sex, and sexuality in this way has been demonstrated to lead to racial animus, segregation, stigmas, discrimination, and poor academic performance. It also politicizes education.”

The College Fix first reported on the diversity requirement. Brockmeyer, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment, made $176,760 in 2015 in her job as the associate provost for academic success.

The committee’s proposal for the new curriculum recommended replacing the math requirement with a quantitative requirement and creating “quantitative experience courses.” It’s unclear if the quantitative courses will replace the math requirement. The goal of those courses, according to the committee, would be for students to develop “the ability to interpret quantitative representations of information (such as graphs and tables), and the ability to use quantitative information to communicate in a purposeful way.”

In the 2015-16 fiscal year, 32 percent of Wayne State’s general fund budget of $602 million — or $190 million — came from Michigan taxpayers in the form of state aid.

According to the most recent information released by WSU about its demographics, 27,578 students are enrolled. Black students make up the largest minority, at 4,881 students, or approximately 18 percent of the student body. The 2,057 Asian students represent 7 percent. There are 15,004 white students, making up 54 percent of the student body.

Chesterton Quote

I now propose some weekend reading. The below is a republication of an article from the American Thinker website. (see original here) The subject matter can best be described as a quick tour-de-force of philosophical and pseudo-philosophical (IDEOLOGICAL) development from the XVI century onward. And for you dear readers, who have been following my blog for any time now, you will recognize the names and various “literary” and “philosophical” movements mentioned in this post.

The reason that I am bringing it to your attention is twofold. First I came across a great post at the NC Register titled I Think Therefore I Am…a Woman (see here) written by Benjamin Wiker. The post pinpoints the source (ROOT CAUSE) of the TRANSRATIONALISM extravaganza that we are observing presently. Please go to the link and read the post. Next, the American Thinker post, when taken in conjuncture with the NCR post can serve as a good roadmap from Descarte, through the various “schools of thought” that emerged after the so-called Enlightenment and specifically due to the French Revolution. These two posts provide a good framework from which to discern… bahhh… judge that which we observe through “natural light of our human reason.

When reading through the below and linked posts, please also keep in mind the LEX ARMATICUS (see here) and the FIRST PRINCIPLE which posits that whatever exists in this vale of tears over any significant period of time (universal), it exist because it complies with that which we recite in the Nicene Creed when we recite: Patrem omnipoténtem, factórem cæli et terræ, visibílium ómnium et invisibílium.

Once again dear reader, the LEX ARMATICUS states the following:

FIRST PRINCIPLE

Those individuals and institutions that comply to the et Invisibilium, will remain a part of the Visibisium Omnium. Those that do not, will be consigned to the trash heap of history.

SECOND PRINCIPLE

Even neo-modernist’s need to eat.

And now, the American Thinker article which I am republishing…

FOR THE RECORD.

The Roots of Transgender Rage

By Nigel Assam

Recently, an Alaskan transgendered high school athlete won honors in a female race at Alaska’s state track meet. The female competitors, no doubt, were upset, one even saying that she doesn’t think it is fair. A normal and reasonable response. It won’t be the last, since, according to transathlete.com, thirty states allow for transgendered athletes to compete in competitions under the gender they identify with.

About two to three decades ago, it became the norm to discard sexual difference in language, e.g., no longer was there a spokesman or spokeswoman, but spokesperson was the term used; no longer are people called actors or actresses, but both men and women are called actors.

We well remember how the transformation of Caitlyn Jenner was one of the most reported-upon stories by a media that is fixated upon driving a leftist agenda. Even before Caitlyn Jenner there was Laverne Cox. And since 2014, Amazon’s “Transparent” has been a hit. As well, there is Jazz Jennings. Furthermore, beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year, kindergarten children in Washington State will be taught gender identity, with 3rd graders even being taught that they can choose their own gender. Then there is the New York City Human Rights Law which enforces the proper use of pronouns to address an individual.

Some of the roots of the current transgender rights movement can be traced back to the Sexual Revolution of the 1960s when all societal norms were breached. The truth at the bottom of this sad episode was not liberation to love, but the ego wanting whatever it wanted — full liberation from any meaningful relationships, which will require responsibility and restraints.

But the roots go even further back, and are found in post-modernism and existentialism. Politics, as is often said, is downstream from culture. But the culture is downstream from the academy, which is where bad ideas take hold and are passed down to students, and through entertainment, which influences society. To quote Scottish politician Andrew Fletcher, “Let me make the songs of a nation, I do not care who makes its laws.”

But two of the main influencers of the current Left are Herbert Marcuse and Michel Foucault. A leading member of the Frankfurt School, Marcuse’s book Eros and Civilization (1965) became the bible of the New Left. As a cultural Marxist, he saw the biggest challenge was replacing the Reality Principle with the Pleasure Principle. This was the driving force that propelled the Sexual Revolution. Happiness was the highest ideal and anything goes.

Marcuse and the Frankfurt School also urged what is now called political correctness. For them, in order to change society and culture, the transgressive must become the norm and what is accepted and tolerated — free speech, traditional customs, etc. — must become unacceptable and intolerable, and that they and their disciples would be the enforcers of what is tolerable and accepted.

Michel Foucault believed that man had no epistemological consciousness, i.e. there is no definition of man beyond his own subjective truth. At the base of Foucault’s thinking is Relativism, i.e. there is no absolute truth, therefore, there is no moral absolute that defines and guides a society and, on the personal level, any person at all. We are all free to choose our own subjective truths.

Foucault, along with Jacques Derrida, another proponent of Deconstructionism, questioned fundamental conceptual distinctions, or “oppositions”, in language and literary texts. When taken outside of its original purpose, this mode of thought has been largely helpful in the questioning of tradition and cultural norms.

But one of Foucault’s greatest contributions to how many people think, especially on the Left, came from his thoughts on language. For him, language should be freed from its subordination to ideas to become now its own autonomous reality — language is its own truth and speaks nothing other than its own meaning. Words have no transcendental meanings, no absolute meanings.

Another immense contribution from Foucault is Social Constructionism, which, although did not begin with him, was greatly developed by his work in this field. This teaches that “social constructs or social constructions define meanings, notions, or connotations that are assigned to objects and events in the environment and to people’s notions of their relationships to and interactions with these objects. In the domain of social constructionist thought, a social construct is an idea or notion that appears to be natural and obvious to people who accept it but may or may not represent reality, so it remains largely an invention or artifice of a given society.”

Which brings us to questions of gender and sex. Foucault believed that sexuality was a socially constructed concept ascribed onto people/bodies. There was no definite male or female, but each person was free to define himself or herself an identity. This is a natural result of Deconstructionism. Thus, one feels free to choose whichever gender (I prefer the term sex, which is more appropriate) one feels or identifies with.

This is the natural result of the long march towards radical subjectivity. But if we look back throughout history, we can see the linear progression that has brought us to this juncture. In the 17th Century, there was Rationalism, which held sway over the academy with its mathematical and rational certainty. But because there were other facts of life in life like love and ethics, Empiricism developed with its command over science and empiricists wanted to be sovereign over everything. Then in the 1900s, Existentialism emerged onto the scene and taught that passions were what mattered and we should express those passions now.

Existentialism, still very influential, insists on individual existence, the individual’s freedom and his ability to choose. There was no God, so man was on his own in the universe and had to define himself. Existentialism teaches “What I do defines who I am.” And that is what is at the heart of the transgender movement — the search for autonomous meaning in a universe that has no absolutes. In this postmodern world (some say it is a post-postmodern world), in which there are no absolutes and truth is relative, there is no larger framework of meaning to language or to our world. The individual seeks his own subjective reality, in essence his own truth, i.e. something that gives him or her meaning and an identity.

In keeping  with our running thread pertaining to the different neo-modernist experiments which are taking place presently across the various areas of human endeavor , we start with the grandfather of them all, i.e. the post-conciliar church and find out that… most marriages are null. This information comes by way of Francis, the bishop of Rome and his “personal teaching magisterium” (see here and here).

Furthermore, we find out that there are some priests who the bishop of Rome described as “animals”.  But please don’t fret, Francis likes animals. Here is the quote which provides context pertaining to cats and dogs (see here):

Francis once again complained of those who, beginning with the culture of well-being 20 years ago, chose to have three cats or a dog instead of children. Jokingly he added, “don’t tell the animal welfare societies because I don’t want to offend anyone!”

If only Fr. Lombardi could clarify whether Francis considers priests to be animals of the cats and dogs variety, this would be a big help. Now, the good Father should be in a position to clarify since the conversation is not about something very, very important, such as Argentinean politics for example (see here).

Leaving off the post-conciliar neo-modernist experiment and moving over to the “economic”, or to be more precise, “monetary policy” neo-modernist experiment which is taking place in the country of Venezuela, we have the following up-date, as promised (see here):

After last week’s first reported casualty during a Venezuela looting, things have, as expected, gotten exponentially worse and according to Reuters, the recent wave of lootings and food riots in crisis-hit Venezuela has left another three people dead in just the past few days. The state prosecutor’s office is investigating the deaths of a 21-year-old man in eastern Sucre state on Saturday, another 21-year-old man in the Caracas slum of Petare on Thursday, and a 42-year-old woman in the western state of Tachira last Monday.

And just for the sake of fairness and not to favor just the area of monetary policy, I would like to draw your attention dear reader to the other side of the neo-modernist economic experiment, this one in the area of fiscal policy. This experiment is presently taking place in a country run by another FRANCISPOLITICIAN, one Alexis Tsipras, the country being Greece. Here is the latest (see here) and the most likely ROOT CAUSE (see here):

Some 8,000 protesters gathered in front of Parliament at Syntagma Square on Wednesday afternoon for a rally organized via social media calling on the leftist-led government to step down.

And if that wasn’t enough, your humble blogger has identified another “flash point” in the neo-moderist’s cultural war which is raging across Western Civilization. This time in the area of “social policy”. And this news that I will present below is not good news for the forces of neo-modernism.

So let’s get cracking, shall we?

As most of you dear reader by now know, an “intrinsically disordered” Mohammedan decided to shoot other “intrinsically disordered” folks in a night club in Orlando Florida this past Saturday. For those who might be new to this blog, this should not come as a surprise. After all, we are all familiar with Randy Engel’s work (see here). Furthermore, we now have confirmation of just this “serial killer problem” in a “certain community” from the Liberty News Now website. In an article titled The G** Community’s Serial Killer Problem, we can read the following:

In the case of the LGBTQ community, the 800-pound gorilla in the room is the correlation between sexual orientation and violence. According to the Serial Killer Database maintained by Radford University, 52% of U.S. serial killers are white, and 92% are male. However, in a dated study conducted in 2003, 69% of serial killers were either self-described homosexuals or engaged in homosexual behavior “immediately, prior to, during or after committing their murders.” In verifying and updating this number, a random sampling of 59 U.S. serial killers after 1960 was collected and studied. Of those 59 convicted murderers, 39 were found to be gay, 66%. Given that arguably 3.8% of the population of the United States self-identifies as gay, the statistical outlier of 60%+ of convicted serial killers being homosexual should be cause for concern within the LGBTQ community. (see here)

So those are the objective facts.

In an unrelated and independent of the information above post, our friend Brandon Smith from the Alt-Market.com website takes a different view of the cause of the Orlando massacre. He comes at it from the classical “terrorist” position. Here is the observation which Mr Smith makes, an observation which coincidentally does not contradict the information laid out in the G**Community’s Serial Killer Problem post, and is as follows:

Orlando Victims Died Because They Were Unarmed – Not Because They Were Gay

Brandon then goes on to provide a reasoned (RATIONAL) argumentation to support the above contention. He observes that the argument:  there “is nothing that we can do” to stop such “lone wolf attacks” is built on a false premise. Here is what Mr. Smith writes:

Ostensibly, this is an argument against the inevitable push for more gun control by Leftists in the wake of the Orlando massacre; but it also sets a dangerous and false precedent in the minds of the public.  The fact of the matter is, the American people CAN stop the majority of terrorist attacks of this nature anytime they wish, without the aid of government or the implementation of unconstitutional gun control measures.

And here is how Mr Smith suggests the American people in general and the “objectively disordered” in the Orlando night club COULD HAVE STOPPED the massacre:

The ONLY remedy to remove a skilled active shooter (or even most unskilled active shooters) is another skilled shooter.  That night in Orlando ended in a bloodbath because there were no skilled civilian shooters, gay or straight, present in the building when the attack occurred.

The above is an OBJECTIVELY CORRECT solution proposed to the mass killing phenomenon brought about by that religion of peace otherwise known as Islam and/or the behavioural disorder of peace otherwise known as aberro-sexuality.

Notice further dear reader, that regardless of whether the said “objectively disordered” Mohammedan’s actions were caused a deep psychological problems derived from his “behavioral disorder” or whether they were caused by a command given him through his ISIS chain of command, the solution proposed by Mr. Smith works in either event.

One can say that RATIONALISM does not discriminate!

So what is a member of an “objectively disordered” minority group to do? Should they take the advice of Mr. Smith? Or should they stick with the advice provided to them by their fellow neo-modernist leftists. And just to remind you dear reader, the proposed solution of the neo-modernists is a ban on the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. (see here)

Well, today we have an answer to the question posed above. Over at the Drudge Report,  a series of links suggest that the members of the “objectively disordered” minority have decided to take Mr. Smith’s advice to heart. Here is a snap shot of the said page:

Homos and Guns

Oh my!

Concluding, what lessons can be drawn from the above “dissonance” within the leftist political propoganda industrial complex?

The obvious lesson is that when someone’s life is threatened, even the most TRANSRATIONAL IDEOLOGUES are forced to make RATIONAL decisions.

And that goes for the homosexuals, lesbians, androgeynes, bi-genders, male-to-females, females-to-males, gendervariables, gender-queers, intersexuals, “neither”-genders, asexuals, non-binaries, pan-genders and pansexuals, (…) trans females and the trans women”, etc. as per video clip above.

“Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose”.

Institute of Christ the King

Before we begin today’s post, I would like to draw your attention dear reader to the new banner at the top of this page. For those who do not recognize this photo, or the “box” on the coffee table, shame on you. Nuff said… (Hint: see here)

Update: I will make this easy….

Next order of business, starting from today, I will try to begin each post with information on how “other” neo-modernist experiments in various areas of human endeavor are progressing. One of these neo-modernist experiments which is coming to a head at present, is in the area of human endevour commonly referred to as the economic science. The neo-modernist’s laboratory for this economic experiment is known as the country of Venezuela. Here is the latest (see here) (emphasis added):

Extreme shortages of food and power continue to ravage the country of Venezuela, and ordinary people have been paying the price. With triple-digit inflation, that “price” is expected to continue to soar even higher. The International Monetary Fund (IMF), in its most recent set April forecasts, expects inflation in Venezuela to hit 481% by the end of 2016.  Even scarier is the estimated pace of acceleration – by 2017, the IMF expects Venezuelan hyperinflation to climb to a whopping 1,642%.

And now we move on to our primary subject matter of this post. Another area of human endeavor which is being ravaged by the neo-modernist’s is that which is referred to as the theological science. Today we get a report from the Polish website Polonia Christiana (see here) which we translate below. The post is in turn a translation from the Italian daily La Stampa. Here is what is written:

The drama of the Spanish Church – within several months hundreds of religious houses have been closed

Over the last six months in Spain, a huge number of houses belonging to religious congregations have been closed. Statistics conclusively indicates that there is a great crisis in the Church on the Iberian Peninsula.

Over  the last eighteen months in Spain alone, up 341 houses belonging to religious congregations have been closed. The reason is very simple – lack of vocations. In other homes the reason was due to the average age being very high. So at this rate, each one and a half day witnesses the closing of one religious house.

Closing of the buildings in these cases not only means the transfer of the nuns and monks to other houses. It is also making decisions about renting these rooms, with the sale of the property, or the organization of museums on the premises. In a few cases, houses are allowed to be used for other religious purposes.

According to the Religia en Libertad website, of the 341 closures, 270 apply to houses in which nuns resided, 71 are houses once inhabited by the priests and brothers. Among the religious orders of women most affected by the phenomenon of loss of vocations are the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent a’Paolo – closed 23 homes in Madrid, the Canary Islands, Majorca, Castile, Leon, Catalonia, Galicia, Andalusia and Valencia. 16 houses were closed by the Franciscan Order and 14 by the Dominican.

In the case of men’s religious orders, most homes have closed were by the Dominicans (14) and the Missionaries of La Salette (8). The Jesuits during this same period closed five houses.

For my regular readers, the above information should not come as a great surprise. From our previous analysis, we have gained an understanding of the “natural order of things”. We understand that the neo-modernist experiment taking place within the post-conciliar church is due to the fact that theological neo-modernism is nothing more than a “negative theology”. And once again, I leave it to John Lamont to explain (see here):

Neomodernism, however, on a religious level is a purely negative thesis. As a result it has no attractive force of its own, and ecclesiastical structures that fall into its grip eventually die away – a process now visible all over the world.

And a case in point is the Church in Spain.

To further reinforce that which is written above, I came across an excellent post on the SSPX’s US website. In a post titled The Atmosphere! (see here), the following passage can be read:

In what is considered to be the clearest exposition of his thought, Donoso described the signs of his times in the famous “Letter to Cardinal Fornari” (1852). (See Donoso Cortés: Readings in Political Theory edited by R.A. Herrera, Sapientia Press.) In this letter, Donoso contended that the errors of his time had their origin in two negations: the denial of Divine Providence and the denial of sin. (Sound familiar?) He understood that when the natural goodness of man is presupposed, it will eventually lead to a denial of Redemption, the Church, and the Holy Trinity. Mr. Herrera summarizes:

Religion is reduced to vague deism. The Church is immured in the sanctuary, and God is imprisoned in heaven. This bodes ill for society, as society depends on those eternal principles of the religious, political, and social orders derived from a source superior to the natural order.”

Concluding, please notice the similarity of the diagnosis which Domoso Cortes provided of a different age – mid XIXth century to that which we can provide for the times in which we live. This observable similarity can easily be explained by the universality (The character or state of being universal; existence or prevalence everywhere. Relation, extension, or applicability to all.) of the human condition. And it is that universality which not only allows us to diagnose the problems, but also allows us to prescribe a course of action to rectify it.

One example of ecclesiastical structures that properly diagnosed and rectified the problem within the post-conciliar church is the Catholic (a.k.a Traditionalist) community The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. For their effort, the Holy Spirit has been very kind to them. On the 7th of July of Anno Domini 2016, the Institute will be ordaining 11 new priests, 8 sub-deacons and 7 deacons (see here). From what I have been told, this is the largest ordination for this religious community. Ever…..

Which allows us to concur with the old French saying that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Or as the French would say:

plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.

Yesterday we finished with our thread dedicated to the post written by a very wise, knowledgeable, and highly influential cleric, writing under the pen name of don Pio Pace which appeared recently on the Rorate Caeli blog (see here). We examined and analyzed the information (DATA POINTS) contained in this essay, since the information contained can… make that “should” be viewed as a snap shot of the psychological disposition and morale of the “opposition” forces engaged in this epic struggle with Francis for control over the INSTITUTIONAL CHURCH.

We concluded our discussion of the above mentioned thread with reference to another post that appeared at the Rorate Caeli blog detailing the continuingly low number of visitors/pilgrims that the FRANCISEVENT known as the Jubilee Year of FRANICSMERCY is attracting to Rome proper, to the Vatican and major Roman basilicas (see here). In one word, it is a…

D I S A S T E R

Given the above, and given our understanding of the LEX ARMATICUS, I have decided to look around the wider part of God’s creation to see how the other “neo-modernist” experiments are progressing.

Just as a reminder, LEX ARMATICUS, or to be more precise, its FIRST PRINCIPLE states that:

Those individuals and institutions that comply to the et Invisibilium, will remain a part of the Visibisium Omnium. Those that do not, will be consigned to the trash heap of history.

Our first stop must be the neo-modernist experiment that is taking place on Francis’ homeland continent in that “worker’s paradise” known as Venezuela. The last time we checked in, we found the local “ungrateful plebs” taking matters into their own hands. Here is what was written:

Last month we reported that citizens in Venezuela had finally become so desperate for food that angry mobs flooded the streets and looted all of the supermarkets that were rumored to still have anything left on their shelves.

As for the Francis and his position on “the poor”, in his personal “teaching” document otherwise known as Evangelii Gaudium, (see here) which Card. Burke still doesn’t know what to make of, paragraph 197 to 201 constitute the section titled: The special place of the poor in God’s people, here is what is written:

Our commitment does not consist exclusively in activities or programmes of promotion and assistance; what the Holy Spirit mobilizes is not an unruly activism, but above all an attentiveness which considers the other “in a certain sense as one with ourselves”.[166] This loving attentiveness is the beginning of a true concern for their person which inspires me effectively to seek their good.

And how is this loving attentiveness “not consist exclusively in activities or programmes of promotion and assistance” administered on a daily basis? For the answer to that question, we go over the MondayVatican blog and a post titled Pope Francis to the United Nations: Which Diplomacy? (see here). In this post, we read the following:

The language of the Holy See, on the other hand, tends to balance the straightforward, and sometimes contradictory statements of Pope Francis. The Secretariat of State, lead by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, is grounded mostly in prudence. Cardinal Parolin always speaks about the need to carry forward a dialogue with every party. Diplomatic prudence is therefore his watchword.

And with respect to Venezuela, we read the following:

Nor did the Holy See intervene in the Venezuelan crisis. It also practiced prudence in its approach to the “Caliphate” and Islamic State. The diplomacy of truth (Benedict’s diplomatic approach), with its strong and definitive condemnation, was left to the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, while the Secretariat of State kept on urging dialogue.

Oh well. It appears that the Venezuelan “the poor” do not “subsist” in the FRANCISPOOR.

As to the latest news from Venezuela, according to the website GlobalPost, in an article titled Venezuelans barter diapers for food on smartphones (see here), we read the following:

A kilo of pasta gets you a packet of diapers. A bag of flour buys a bottle of shampoo.

Short on basic supplies, Venezuelans have reverted to ancient shopping habits: bartering whatever they have.

But the tools of the trade are right out of the 21st century: WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram.

With food and toiletries in ever shorter supply, their smartphones are helping them survive.

What we can observe is that the progressive neo-modernist experiment that is taking place in the South American country of Venezuela has “advanced” the local economy to a state not seen since the advent of the medium of exchange commonly referred to as a “currency”, i.e. circa 15,000 BC.

But  not all news from the South American continent is “good” news. In Francis’ homeland and the neo-modernist experiment known as Kirchnerism, i.e. neo-Peronism, has come to a temporary halt. In the last election, the “less neo-modernist” politician, one Mauricio Macri won the last general election (see here). Therefore, Francis’ hopes to “usher in the second coming of Peronism” were dashed. (see here)

It would appear that desperate times call for desperate measures and as this blog has observed on numerous occasions, even neo-modernists need to eat. Combining these two “loose” general principles, we have come across a story that demonstrates to what extent the Argentine neo-modernists will go to to survive this down period. Over at the Bloomberg website, in a story titled Kirchner Official Caught Burying Millions Outside Convent (see here) we can read the following:

The former No. 2 at Argentina’s Public Works Ministry was arrested after he was caught burying bags containing millions of dollars in cash in the grounds of a convent near Buenos Aires.

Once agian, allow me to restate for the record: Even neo-modernist’s need to eat.

Actually, let us elevate this oft repeated observation and define it as the second principle of the LEX ARMATICUS.

Given the above, one obvious lesson can be drawn. That lesson is as follows: the manner in which a neo-modernist can “guarentee” not to run afoul of the Second Principle of the LEX ARMATICUS, i.e. that he (and his friends, like the former No. 2 at Argentina’s Public Works Ministry) not find himself in a position where he would not have the means to feed himself is to “not lose” an election.

And in keeping with the above expanded LEX ARMATICUS, it would appear that this lesson has been learned.

Over at the MondayVatican website, in a post titled Pope Francis’ Reform in Progress, (see here) we can read the following:

This is what Cardinals advising the Pope are for, and this is what the Pope is putting into action through curial reform. But this reform represents only a minimum part of Pope Francis’ idea of Church. He is more interested in reforming the profile of bishops, than the Curia. He mostly aims at picking bishops with the smell of the sheep rather than bishops intellectually well founded. And this is what he is doing in the College of Cardinals. He is redesigning it according to the rationale that the universal Church should be more represented. True, the Pope will not take the red hat away from dioceses and offices which by tradition are assigned to a cardinal; nevertheless, it is very likely that he will raise the number of cardinals eligible to vote in a conclave from 120 to 140, perhaps in the upcoming consistory.

Concluding, we can see from the above text that the neo-modernist’s are not going down without a fight. Just because their neo-modernist IDEOLOGY is creating destruction and human misery on a massive scale, this does not mean that they will give up their positions of power and privalege voluntarily.  It is also obvious that Francis has decided to not fall afoul of the George Bernard Shaw observation, i.e.

“We learn from history that we learn nothing from history.

Francis has learned from history, or at least he has learned this one lesson. And if the OLD GUARD wants to regain control over the INSTITUTION that is the Universal Church, it is going to have to start getting serious. Because Francis is…

…fighting for the things he believes in, with all the weapons at this disposal…

And his best weapon at present is: STACKING THE DECK.

St. Peter's Square Empty

Today your humble blogger will finish up the thread that we last left off In the post titled Summorum Pontificum’s ABUNDANT “Good Fruit” (see here). In that post, we provided circumstantial evidence  to support our HYPOTHESIS that the STATEMENTS emanating from the OLD GUARD (a.k.a conservative hierarchs) had a causal relationship to DOCUMENTS emanating from TEAM FRANCIS and subsequent MEDIA INFORMATION emanating from the wider Vatican Communications operation.

According to our HYPOTHESIS, which the circumstantial evidence supports, the OLD GUARD is beginning to understand that in order to “right the Barque of St. Peter”, it needs a RESET, and the base to which the RESET needs to be anchored is to the pontificate of Pope Pius XII. In turn, TEAM FRANCIS, seeing that the OLD GUARD is ditching the “reform of the reform”, which is an implicit abrogation  of the “spirit of Vatican II” and the greatest council evahhhhh, is putting STRUCTURES in place to stop the RESTORATION of all things in Christ. Two of these structures are the Motu Proprio “Come una madre amorevole” and the “rescript ex audientia” as explained in the above mentioned post.

Fast forward to the 10th of June, Anno Domini 2016 and a daily homily at the TEAM FRANCIS bunker hostel HQ located at the Domus Sanctae Marthae, where Francis and his revolutionary secretariat are holed up. In this homily, Francis provided another one of his novel interpretations of what he thinks is written in the Gospel and what constitutes the Catholic Faith. What Francis said can be construed as a direct assault on Cardinal Sarah. For the specifics, I will revert over to a post from the That These Bones You Crushed blog titled: Did the Pope Just Call Cardinal Robert Sarah a Heretic? (see here). The author lays out the positions of the respective parties:

18 May 2016

Cardinal Sarah: “In the end, it is God or nothing.”

10 June 2016

Pope Francis: “It is not Catholic (to say) ‘or this or nothing:’ This is not Catholic, this is heretical.”

And here is how the author sums up this observation:

In this time of grave crisis within the papacy and the Church, this is going to sound inappropriate but it looks rather like things are about to get interesting.

The gloves are coming off and for Francis, so too is the mask.

Yes, the mask is coming off indeed!

Furthermore, what also did not escape the eagle eye of your humble blogger is the use of the term “heretical”. It would appear that another member of the OLD GUARD also used this term. The date the post appeared was also the 10th of June and the following was written (see here):

In the June issue of Herder Korrespondenz (issue 6/2006) reaffirmed the Cardinal Prefect, that “no one” should relativize the doctrine of the papacy as a divine institution, for that would mean, wanting to “correct God.” Some time ago, there was someone who was presented by “certain media” as one of the “closest advisers” of the Pope, the Cardinal said. This consultant has opined that there would be no problem in transferring the seat of the Pope to Medellin in Colombia or elsewhere, and the various Curia offices could be shared among the various local Churches. This, says Cardinal Müller, is fundamentally wrong and “even heretical”.

For those who do not know what Card. Muller was referring to, allow me to remind you dear reader. In a post that we did titled The Loose Canon, (see here) we provided a translated passage from an interview that the “third rate theologian” and ghost writer (see here) for Francis’ “magisterium”, one Victor Manuel “”Heal Me With Your Mouth: The Art Of Kissing” Fernandez (see here) gave to the Corriere della Sera on the 10th of May 2015. Here is the question and the Archbishop’s answer:

Would it be possible to have a pope without Vatican or away from the Vatican?

“The Roman Curia is not an essential structure. The pope could even go and live away from Rome, have a dicastery in Rome and another one in Bogota, and perhaps link-up by teleconference with liturgical experts that live in Germany. Gathered around the pope, in a theological sense, is the College of Bishops in order to serve the people.”

And it is in reference to this passage that Card. Muller is quoted publicly as stating that it is “fundamentally wrong and “even heretical”.

Therefore, one must make the observation that what constitutes “heretical” must obviously be in the eye of the beholder.

Yet, what one also is forced to notice is that what Francis says is “heretical”, whether directly or through his ghostwriter and what Card. Sarah and Muller say is “heretical” are the exact opposites.

Which brings us back to the subject at hand. What needs to be mentioned here is that the OLD GUARD are beginning to fight back.

The background to this fightback can only be understood by understanding the general situation behind the Sacred Vatican Walls. To explain this wider context of the STATEMENTS and DOCUMENTS coming to light presently, we need to understand the following (see here):

What we see is that the “revolutionary forces of the post conciliar HIPPIE church” have decided to begin attacking. Their situation can be best discerned through that old saying that is credited to Mahatma Gandhi which he in fact never said. The adage goes as follows:

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

Given the accuracy of the above, it would appear that Francis and his “revolutionary soviet” holed up at the Domus Sanctae Marthae are in the “Fighting” phase.

Given that we are seeing the OLD GUARD starting to fight back against the forces of Francis, we need to ask the question: why now?

And one possible answer to the above posed question could be that the OLD GUARD is beginning to feel strong enough to challenge Francis. If you recall, Padre Pio Pace made an interesting observation in his essay, and that was this:

On the other hand, Amoris Laetitia, which opens up the Magisterium of the Church to liberal interpretations, truly represents the essence of his project: a papacy legitimized by the media, and having become a provider of good feelings to the modern world.

In other words, what Padre Pio Pace is saying and confirming is what we describe on this blog as the SOAP BUBBLE PAPACY™ (see here and here) In the post titled Soap Bubble Papacy™ – The Writing Is On The Wall,  we quote Antonio Socci who writes:

“Is the audacious war-machine beginning to wane?” a Swiss Vatican reporter asks. Actually, the Argentinian war-machine with the German engine has gotten stuck in the mud at the Synod. Lately we have heard that German “engines” are being put on the scrap-heap plus the Argentinean bodywork is an old wreck of Peronism and rusty Liberation Theology.

Today, we have anecdotal proof (circumstantial evidence) of just this above described observation. Over at the Rorate Caeli blog (see here), the following post appeared titled:

Jubilee of Mercy News:
1. Is the Jubilee of Mercy attracting far fewer pilgrims to Rome than expected?

Here is what is written in the post:

1. Is the Jubilee attracting fewer pilgrims than expected?

On June 10, Archbishop Rino Fisichella of the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization announced that since the beginning of the current Jubilee, 9,100,935 pilgrims have visited the four Papal Basilicas – St Peter’s, St John Lateran, S. Maria Maggiore and S. Paolo Fuori le Mura – and the Sanctuary of our Lady of Divine Love. The Jubilee of Mercy started on December 8, 2015 and will end on November 20, 2016, which means that we are already slightly more than halfway through the Jubilee year. While the summer season (peak season for tourists despite the heat) is still ahead, the Christmas, Lent, Holy Week and Easter seasons favored by numerous pilgrims have long been over.

Last year, the “Info Giubileo” website announced that 33 million “tourists and pilgrims” were expected in Rome for this Jubilee year — more than double the annual number of tourists and pilgrims (12-16 million) that visit Rome on ordinary years. In comparison the Jubilee Year of 2000 was said to have attracted 24.5 million pilgrims. Even if one accounts for those going to Rome for purely touristic motives, and for those who will not be visiting any of the Papal Basilicas as pilgrims, surely there should have been far more than 9.1 million pilgrims by now to to these basilicas if the expected pilgrimage numbers are to be met?

The above information is in line with what we observed at the beginning of the Jubilee of Mercy in December of 2015. On the 21st of December 2015, in a post titled Francis’ Holy Year Of Mercy Off To A Cracking Start! (see here) the following is written:

The day is March 13, 2013 [Ed note: Francis elevation to Throne of St. Peter]– its remains could be seen in this striking picture of St. Peter’s Square in the General Audience of December 2, 2015, now a recurring sight, as mentioned by Camillo Langone in his article for Il Foglio just published by us below. How fickle are the multitudes, how untrustworthy are the crowds!… Even when one does everything to please them! Ungrateful plebs!

Ungrateful plebs, indeed!

But what’s more important, the Curia must have noticed.

Francis & Maduro

Quick post today. Staying with yesterday’s theme of our An Ideologue’s Nostalgia For Structures And Customs Which Are No Longer Life-giving In Today’s World post (see here), we check in to Venezuela to see how that other experiment in neo-modernist IDEOLOGY is progressing. Below is a re-publication via the Zero Hedge website that brings us up to date (see here).

And just as a quick reminder, the reason that we are able to draw analogies between the neo-modernist experiment taking place in Venezuela and the neo-modernist experiment that is taking place inside the Sacred Vatican Walls is due to our understanding of the LEX ARMATICUS (see here). And the LEX ARMATICUS states that:

Those individuals and institutions that comply to the et Invisibilium, will remain a part of the Visibisium Omnium. Those that do not, will be consigned to the trash heap of history.

As for the latest news regarding the neo-modernist economic experiment taking place in Venezuela, the following is the case:

Violent Riots And Looting Are Now A Daily Occurrence In Venezuela

Last month we reported that citizens in Venezuela had finally become so desperate for food that angry mobs flooded the streets and looted all of the supermarkets that were rumored to still have anything left on their shelves.

Not long after, tired and hungry protesters took to the streets of Caracas once again, this time marching toward the presidential palace as they chanted “No more talk – we want food!.” The mob was able to get within about six blocks of the palace before police in riot gear blocked the way, and began to shoot tear gas into the crowd to disperse the protest.

And now, as president Maduro remains defiant on allowing a referendum to take place to vote on his ouster, food riots and violent looting are taking place every day in a stark reminder of just how far the socialist utopia has fallen.

Francis & Maduro II

Francis & Maduro III

Francis & Maduro IV

More than a quarter of the estimated 641 protests in Venezuela last month were over food, a figure that has risen every month this year, and the enormous social unrest in the country is something that should keep Maduro awake at night much more than the politics of it all. Despite hours in lines, Venezuelans increasingly find that coveted supplies of subsidized flour and rice run out before they can buy them. Many people are skipping meals, getting by on mangoes stripped from trees – or taking matters into their own hands and doing things such as rushing stopped food trucks and stealing whatever food is available as we showed last week.

“We’re not eating. People are desperate for a looting.” said Miza Colmenares, a mother of three who had spent the night in line at a supermarket and had not eaten since the previous day when she had eggs for breakfast.

From Reuters

Supermarkets have become flashpoints across Venezuela, one of the world’s most violent countries.
More than 10 lootings occur every day now, according to the Venezuelan Observatory of Violence, and are increasing in the usually more insulated capital.

More than a quarter of the 641 protests last month were for food, according to a tally by the Venezuelan Observatory of Social Conflict, a figure that has risen every month this year.

Venezuela’s angry streets are arguably a bigger threat for Maduro than the political opposition, which is pushing to remove him via a recall referendum this year. One recent food protest came within blocks of the Miraflores presidential palace.

It is a remarkable turnaround for a government which prided itself on social welfare programs such as Cuban-staffed medical posts and subsidized supermarkets. It won elections time-and-time again thanks to devoted support from Venezuela’s poor.

But with their beloved former president, Hugo Chavez, dead for three years and the economy deteriorating rapidly, many former “Chavistas” have turned on Maduro. “Behind all this is the president, the rat in his palace, eating riches while we fight to buy pasta,” said homemaker Maria Perez, 31, once a Chavez supporter, at the El Valle supermarket.

As the citizens slowly come to the realization that the socialist government that promised everyone they’d always be taken care of can’t possibly follow through on those empty promises, the citizens have gone to a survival of the fittest type attitude toward the situation.

“HOODED AND ARMED” For months now, groups have ransacked delivery trucks that crash or suffer flat tires. But in recent weeks, there has been an increase in frustrated shoppers storming supermarkets after food runs out as well as cases of communities or armed gangs organizing lootings, sometimes reportedly to re-sell the goods.

In the small roadside town of Tacuato in the remote Paraguana peninsula late last month, residents and delinquents frustrated after spending the night in line for no food decided to loot the next passing truck.

“If you have a son who says, ‘Mommy I want my bottle,’ and you don’t have milk to give him, in a moment like that you don’t think of anything else and you grab everything you can for your family,” said one woman, asking to remain anonymous to avoid compromising her job.

Also in late May, a group stormed a small store in the Andean state of Tachira after the owner declined to sell all the corn flour she had, preferring to keep some for the next day.

“They waited for nightfall, watched me get on the bus … and some 70 people came up, hooded and armed,” said the store owner, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation.
They stole a TV, cash, and eight bags of flour, said the owner, who has not dared re-open her store.

As we noted the violence isn’t just among the looters vying for scraps of food, police also attacked and robbed journalists covering recent protests in Caracas, and as Reuters further reports, a policeman is now being charged in Tachira after a woman was gunned down following a looting attempt earlier this month.

“We’re going to tire of this. There will be something like Caracazo for sure” said Yubisai Blanco, as she clutched her two bags of pasta after waiting seven hours in line.

Caracazo references a time when hundreds died during riots and looting sparked by yet another economic crisis in the country.

The swift deterioration of a nation should be a very clear wake up call for everyone, even in places, or perhaps especially in places such as America where the prevailing attitude toward this type of social unrest is “it won’t happen here.” All it takes is a slight disruption in the supply chain of many supermarkets and millions of Americans will be without food very quickly, it’s important to always keep that in mind. Being prepared is always in everyone’s best interest.
