Bergoglio in Blue

In yesterday’s post, we republished part of a post by Andrea Gagliarducci pertaining to an academic paper which appeared, written by a professor from the University of Bologna. This academic’s work, in the humble opinion of your even more humble blogger, was a substantive addition to the knowledge we have about the “mind set” of the current bishop of Rome.

Today, I found this post at the Denzinger-Bergoglio blog. For those not familiar with this most important blog, the DB is operated by a group of anonymous Spanish priests who are in essence cataloging the multitude of Francis heterodox and outright heretical statements. This blog is a must read for all the Faithful.

With respect to the post itself, the contents put more “meat on the bones” of our knowledge of who really is Francis. It is only with a thorough understanding of what motivates Francis to say the stupid and downright nasty things he says, that we can understand the context of the words coming out of his mouth. And once the context is properly understood and the words denounced, the proper Catholic teaching must then be reasserted and reaffirmed.

It’s the only way because…extra Ecclesiam nulla salus.

(Vatican Insider, February 17, 2014). Actually, this original approach was entirely out of place, since, as head of the Vatican State, Francis’ Argentinean nationality is totally irrelevant. Moreover, the question of a passport is a strictly personal issue of no interest for such travel details (paperwork, stamps, taxes, luggage…
