In light of your focus on the “Stealth Sex” Synod, this news item caught our attention today. While it’s obvious the initiative was proposed to make several important points, It’s also evident the PATTERNED RESPONSE by officials, to any mention of God’s laws and sin regarding homosexual acts, is one of immediate condemnation- as hate speech and bigotry. As we know, the Synod proposals have been fostering that mentality rather than countering it, as the mandate from Our Lord commands.:

“Orange County lawyer Matthew Gregory McLaughlin filed the “Sodomite Suppression Act” late last month with the state attorney general’s office. The initiative, which purports to give residents the authority to act as executioners, contains incendiary language that already is being called outright hate speech.”
“The proposal reads: “Seeing that it is better that offenders should die rather than that all of us should be killed by God’s just wrath against us for the folly of tolerating wickedness in our midst, the people of California wisely command, in the fear of God, that any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification be put to death by bullets to the head or by any other convenient method.” (Gotta laugh there, sorry)
“McLaughlin’s proposal also calls for banning gays — or “sodomites” – from holding public office. Those found guilty of spreading propaganda would be fined $1 million and/or thrown in jail for a decade. He or she could also be banned from California for life, under the proposal. ”
ASSEMBLY MEMBER ( Democrat) Susan Eggman told FoxNews -about the proposal:
“Of course, none of this would ever be implemented as it would run afoul of any number of state and federal laws — let alone the constitutional right to due process. But the proposal itself continues to go through the official ballot initiative process, and some are concerned it’s been able to get this far.
“It was not exactly a surprise, as we know bigotry of this kind persists, so much as exasperation that it would prove such a waste of state resources,” .
Eggman, .. says while the chances of the proposal even making it on the 2016 ballot are slim, the damage may already have been done.
“This is hate speech, linked to a call to do harm,” That’s not an abstract.”

What ever happened to “Go teach all nations, Baptizing….?
In one of Pope Francis’ earliest speeches to the evangelicals of the “Ark Community” [just after their leader’s, (his friend Tony Palmer’s) accidental death], he dismissed the causes of their divisions from Rome, [i.e. heresy, schism and sin] as things God wishes Catholics and all others to completely ignore, saying:
“This dream which was Tony’s..of being able to walk in communion. We are sinning against Christ’s will, because we continue to focus on our differences; our shared baptism is more important than our differences.” . “He is not with me because I’m Catholic, He’s not with me because I’m Lutheran, He’s not with me because I’m Orthodox. A theological mess!! ” “We each have in our Churches’ excellent theologians. That’s another way to walk together also. But we shouldn’t wait for them to reach agreement! That’s what I think. [Applause].” ” We all have the Holy Spirit within us,..we all know that there is a father of lies, the father of all division, the anti-father, the devil who pushes in and divides, divides. Tony and I spoke so much.. of going ahead,in what unites us, praying that the Lord Jesus with His strength help us and not let what divides us divide us even more. Obviously with our Theologians still in serious disagreement we do not HAVE the same Gospel to preach. And it is Jesus, not the devil, Who is insistent upon our acknowlegement of the separations caused by those who reject the truth, saying:
“And you shall be hated by all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved.”
If they have called the goodman of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household? DO NOT THINK THAT I CAME TO SEND PEACE UPON EARTH; I CAME NOT TO SEND PEACE, BUT THE SWORD. [35] For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [The Douey Rheims footnote explains: –that his coming and his doctrine would have this effect, by reason of the obstinate resistance that many would make, and of their persecuting all such as should adhere to Him.]

IRONICALLY, AND SADLY, many PROTESTANTS are currently preaching against those Evangelicals who run to Pope Francis’ side for “luncheons” and rejoice in hearing how disinterested he is in converting anyone while he anathemetizes proselytization.
Though still blind to how it applies to their own founders, those who denounce this intermingling, point to the same differences between the Pope’s words and Tradition, that WE have sadly had to do so often these days. “Jesus and His disciples never tolerated unity without the foundation of biblical truth. Time after time zealous religious leaders, with their own agendas, were strongly rebuked:
• Jesus did not join hands with the religious leaders who shut off the kingdom of heaven from men (Matt. 23:13).
• Paul did not unite with the Judaizers who only wanted to add circumcision to the Gospel (Gal. 1).
• Jude refused to cooperate with those who crept in unaware to pervert the grace of God (Jude 4).
• John did not seek to establish unity with those “who went out from us because they were never really of us” (1 John 2:19).
• Peter never joined hands with the false teachers who had forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam (2 Pet. 2:15).
• The writer to the Hebrews never united with those who would ignore such a great salvation (Hebrews 2:3).
“How are Christians to protect themselves in the midst of the religious deception so prevalent in the world today? The Bible exhorts us to test every teaching. We are warned not to believe every spirit because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” It is only by God’s Word that we can know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:1,6). ” So what are we to do with the false teachers within Christendom? We are not to partake in their endeavors but to expose their false teachings” (Eph. 5:6,11).
“Those who “profess to know God but by their deeds they deny Him” must be exposed and silenced so others will not be deceived.” (Titus 1:9-16). “Those who do not listen to apostolic teaching are not from God.” “We are commanded to separate from those who persist in false teaching” (Rom. 16:17; Titus 3:10).
As end time deception increases and more and more people are led into apostasy, we must contend fervently for the faith that was once delivered to the saints (Jude v. 3). “Those who remain faithful will be persecuted for refusing to compromise (2 Tim. 2:12). They will be accused of being intolerant, unloving and narrow minded. But we must always be mindful of the warnings of the apostles—if we do not separate from false teachers we could be disqualified for service (2 Tim. 2:20), become identified with them and their error (2 John 10-11), or risk being partakers of their fate. (Jude vv. 11-13).”
“As church leaders continue to teach partial truths and tolerate doctrinal error the body of Christ must take action.”
In these days of apostasy, the body of Christ needs to boldly and courageously proclaim the whole counsel of God and expose as error everything that opposes it. May God give all His servants the grace, power, discernment and courage to be contenders for the faith.”

We pray for these protestants to convert, how can we bring them to see Rome as the Authority to whom they must submit unless they hear US, rather than our current Pontiff, whom they clearly see is NOT speaking as Christ did, and come to understand that the protection from error applies only to official promulgation
